This is an All Season Solar Cooker Camper review & demonstration. It is made of 4mm corrugated polypropylene. A 2mil outdoor rated reflective polyester film is pressure laminated to the polypropylene.
The spices came from @los Americas Grocery Store in Tulsa, OK. Most were approximately $1.00 each.
The air fryer that I used to finish up the bread is an Instant Vortex 6 Quart Air Fryer.
Schmaltz is rendered poultry fat, usually chicken.

I recently purchased one of these solar cookers and I've used it several times successfully. It's kind of satisfying that you cook something without using gas or electricity, just energy from the Sun. I've not tried cooking anything fancy, but it cooks meats really well.

Hello Sammy that was really fun watching the video with the sun oven that was made with corrugated plastic that’s what my little people that I have for the chickens made out it lasts a very long time. My son got us a sous vide cooker and I’ve used it for steaks I like how it works . your soup is going to be delicious. The two little ones helping you were adorable thanks for sharing.💕NonnaGrace

Thank you NonnaGrace! That's good to hear that the corrugated plastic lasts a long time. I really like my steak sous vide. I was so sceptical at first but now I prefer it that way. The little girls like to be on video. 😂 the older two & husband not so much. Have a wonderful evening.

I did alot of research & found this cooker was the best bang for your buck. It wasn't the cheapest and it definitely wasn't the most expensive. It gets hotter than some reaching 350 degrees & it's very durable. During my reaearch I ran across a video of Starry Hilders. It was made when she was living off grid & this one was her favorites. @Starry Hilder

When assembling the ASSC make sure the the panels are over-flexed on the sides so that it is easier to get the opening in an octagonal shape.

@@bluefeatherhomestead I have cooked boneless skinless chicken breast, bacon, stirfry veggies, and even sausage with veggies with it. Trying to get it to cook rice was too difficult, boiling off water takes an extensive amount of power. I haven't tried noodles yet. Remember, CARD. Capture, absorb, retain, duration. Capture as much sunlight as possible by keeping the solar cooker aimed and folded out open as much as possible. Absorb as much light as possible with dark non-reflective cookware. Retain as much heat as possible by preventing wind stripping away heat. That is using the glassware bowls or the oven bags. Duration is to remember it takes time, time of day is particularly important. You got this!

The Pazole looks like its going to be amazing, all those yummy spices in it. Awesome on the solar oven, I know a lot of people that have one and use it very often esp those living off grid like Doug and Stacey. The cornbread looks like it came out good, sorry the wind knocked it over. It's extremely windy here today too, bad storms coming in. Nice spice haul too! I have so many spices I almost don't have room for them. My spice cabinet is so full I have to take half of them out to find anything, lol. At the same time you can never have enough, right? I have never saved my schmaltz but my Mom always did. Have a lovely day hun, love ya!

I like the idea of buying an oven like this that when you put it together correctly you can cook without using wood or coal or charcoal or propane...Or any other fuel... and you don't have to take time to set it up to get the fire going and burn the coals down to cook on. Here is my contribution to Homesteading. I've been building and developing this over 15 years. This is for heat mainly, although with 4, 5 or 6-inch pipe with the addition of a tee, you can cook with it also. kzbin.info/aero/PLsEWVATMY6q2y14qSkSpuFvEg0jzJDDPK
