You on the other hand, don't. Everything, and I mean everything, falls into a category. We do this so we can better describe interests. "Oh you like metal huh? Like Sabbath, Slayer, Korpiklaani, Mayhem, Drudkh, Rhapsody, Symphony X, ASP, Opeth, Into Eternity, or Cannibal Corpse?" Makes life that much easier.

@smokemadbuds991 So they don't label themselves, but they fall into a category, whether you or the band likes it or not. If their true intent was to be not be stuck in one label, they have to try a lot harder. The band is good don't get me wrong, but the genre is very plainly, deathcore. I'm sorry you don't have the mental capacity to be able to know where a band falls and enjoy the music at the same time.
