@tahsin1988 Unfortunately Shaymin and Darkrai was an exclusive one time event I believe. Same with Deoxys. As for Arceus, you have to have gotten him in Legends Arceus to be able to shiny hunt him in BD/SP

For Cresselia you need to reset it BEFORE you talk to it on the island, not BEFORE the encounter. The shininess of Cresselia and Mesprit is determined when it starts roaming!

Sword and shield Crown Tundra DLC has higher rates for shinies but takes longer to encounter because you have to take out 3 pokemon before countering the legendary and you might also fail the battle. In BDSP you can just instantly reset the encounter if it's not shiny. So BDSP might be easier but I like Sword and Shield Dynamax Adventures more

You get a giriseus orb from it as a reward allowing you to change giratina into origin form but the boss is very sadly uncatchable and not shiny locked (like every Pokémon in bdsp with the exception of gift mons like mew jirachi) making it any shiny hunters worst nightmare

No, you save before encountering it and summon it again. For Cresselia and Mesprit you need to save before it flees and starts roaming the map because that is when it's shininess is determined

No, save master ball for Shiny Arceus ( if u will shiny hunt it ). When I caught mine in 7 encounters, I instantly used a master ball because 1. It’s Shiny Arceus, there’s is no other Pokémon that deserves the ball other than it 2. It’s odds are one of or the lowest catching rates
