so uhh last summer i had suddenly remembered a strange tune, something very familiar, yet so far trying to shazam the tune, of course, did not help two months later i got my hands on my brother's good ole' fatty 64gb PlayStation3 after turning it on i have experienced a severe case of nostalgia: it was, indeed, hacked PS3 from my childhood with games like poco roco, trash compactor, just cause 2, and, of course, wipeout. Oh my God how do i express my feelings for this gem of a game experience. Its just so good. The LORE™, the DESIGN™, the LORE™ behind the DESIGN™... Wipeout HD wasn't flawless, but it definitely did earn it's definitive omega edition. It is so sad that steve jobs... oops, wrong line. Its so sad that liverpool studios are gone. RIP. by the way saying "QIЯЕЖ" in russian sounds like "QI-YA-YEZH" in english, when "QIГЕЖ" sounds like "QI-GE-ZH"

My top 3 teams are Icarus (I'm British so obviously I fly my home country's team offen, plus its the fastest ship in the game, with its thrust and handling beating Piranha). AG Systems (Got to respect the company that made AG Racing possible, plus my choice of team in 2048 mode). Mirage (I use this team a lot on technical circuits like Chenghou Project and Modesto Hights, plus the ship has great all round stats).

Nice. I love qirex even though it’s technically not that good I’ve just used it since the beginning so I am so used to it. I also love mirage too, when I ride it I just feel like I’m floating. I also like using triakis, especially in eliminators bc of how robust it is, being the car with the highest health. Anulpha pass is my favorite location and metropia and Moa therma are fun too. I hate Modesto heights and sebenco climb tho. I think we all hate sebenco lol.

@@5e0na believe it or not I don't have a problem with Sebenco Climb, if I'm playing on Venom or Fash, i can easily navigate the track without hitting the walls using Icarus, on Rapier and Phantom i use Mirage, because it beats Icarus on handling, and I mostly get though the track cleanly using Mirage then I do with Icarus. Modesto Hights is the track I hate the most in this game, too many blind corners and the section in the dark is nearly impossible to navigate cleanly. I don't think I've ever had a perfect lap on Phantom class on this track.

I dislike the Chrome skins, they feel like wasted potential for another awesome skin. After all the colours make the teams unique.

I don't understand why i have 8 ships for every team in the 2048. I have alternative version of speed, fighter, agility and prototype but i can't unlock theme. Can you tell how?

The 2048 ships only have 4 different versions: Agility, Fighter, Prototype and Speed. The HD/Fury ships have more skins/themes. Read the description of the video how to unlock them. If you have any questions, please ask.

The ships you are referring to are from the 2048 Campaign and are not VR related. In the description of my video you can read how to unlock these ships. The ships from 1:50 are from the HD/Fury Campaign. This menu however has gotten a little update since I posted the video and will now have two additional ships in the bottom which are the VR onces.

Can I ask whether you can use ships from one Wipeout game on tracks from another Wipeout game? IE: Can you use the Fury Feisar ship in the 2048 tracks?

Unfortunately not. Wipeout HD ships are limited to Wipeout HD tracks and Wipeout 2048 ships are limited to Wipeout 2048 tracks. Sorry for the late reply.

I don't see why I would pay £30 for a digital copy just to get the Van űber ship, when I could pay half the price and get a physical copy. The fact that I wouldnt be able to use the Van űber ship in the 2048 levels makes the loss a bit more bearable ^^ Thanks again :P

Yeah, my main disappointment was 2048. As a prequel it should be a lot closer to 1/2097/XL and have a more grassroots experimental feel to it, as it was supposed to show the beginning of anti-gravity racing. Instead, we got a boring generic future.
