On a serious note though, is there a specific lore reason why Stroheim can pierce through Diego's dino armor with his UV light? Or is it just oversight?

No, its just because of how Stroheims ultimate has multiple hits, and if one of them hits the animation would be triggered and the opponent receive the amount of damage for 1 hit. Here it counts all hits like theyre hitting so it does the initial amount of damage multiple times

@@El_Peje Ah I see. I suppose Magician's Red is quite similar, just not as much hits to be super obvious. So the reason why it works the 2nd time is because Scary Monsters just happen to wear out while Stroheim's UV Light is hitting Diego.
