After spending the night I wanted to note that the beds were not the comfortable, and the thing about value resorts is you can hear the next door rooms more than moderate and deluxe. Something to note, other than that, it’s a nice discounted place to stay

I stayed at Pop Century twice and experienced the same thing. You can hear EVERYTHING outside your room. The solution is to really exhaust yourself at the parks so you come back ready to knock out, or extra strength melatonin 😬

This will be the property I will be staying at for my very first ON PROPERTY solo trip for Memorial Day Weekend. Got a great price too cannot wait! Can't beat 1300 for five nights and 4 day park hopper! I am not a picky person by any means so this is perfect for me.

One of the neatest hidden things I loved was, look at the shower handle! The hot and cold, it’s the sun from tangled and snow flake from frozen! I love this resort, so much to look at.

I just didn't have a good experience at POP, demanded out of my room with mask on at 9am for security sweep. My sister told to move from the smoking bench because they needed to clean it at 6am, it just wasn't for us. I love the atmosphere at Movies, cast members there were really nice. However, it was my first resort with my family so it will probably always be special to me.

We LOVE All Star Movies! The refurb definitely makes it feel higher quality/almost like a moderate and it's not that loud if you stay away from Fantasia. So happy it's open again. 😊

One of my fav things to do after checking in at a Disney resort is walking around the entire grounds checking out everything and the theming - looks like a nice place - I have stayed at all star music several times

Fall 2019 we got a standard room in the Love Bug section - SUPER far from the entrance of the resort. Getting back from the parks late at night was rough because we would have to wait almost an hour for the bus to arrive, then it would stop at Sports and Music before dropping you off at Movies. THEN the walk back to the building was long, plus our room was way at the back of the building. I'd rather pay a bit more at another resort and a preferred room if the bus didn't stop at so many resorts before yours and you didn't have to walk so far back to your room.

All the rooms across the resort seem to be getting the same feature walls with shelving and USB plugs. Nice to see! I loved having a newly renovated room at Coronado Springs in late 2018. Very functional and comfy. Similar at Animal Kingdom in 2019.

I love all star movies! Used to stay in Toy Story all the time when I was a kid. I recently went at the end of 2019 and stayed in The Love Bug area. I love every part of this hotel!

I stayed at 'Music' several years ago; I wanted to avoid renting a car and use the Disney transportation system which was fine. Whatever year it was, the room rate was $69/night. The bed not great, plus long walk to Main Bldg. However, the themed landscaped outer sections were/are awesome to see and walk through. Lots of photo opportunities for sure.

We’ve stayed at Movies and Sports. They’re an inexpensive option that gives you the benefits of staying on Disney property. The new rooms look great! However, I prefer the Coronado.

Tip: Disney resorts can be found on Hotwire for a substantial discount. The Hot Rate hotels are masked so it’s not for certain what you are booking until you purchase, but one can kind of figure out from the info given. I booked Pop Century last year, and it was pretty clear that it was going to be Pop and it was less than the AP rate. I think one of the current Hotwire Hot Rate hotels is Movies, at $91 a night.

What do you mean they are masked? So you book a hotel room that you think it pop century based on room pictures, but there is no hotel name attached to it?

@@samanthahunter6815 The hotel name is not listed. Guessing which hotel it is is not based on pictures. It’s based on the general location and hotel and room description. For example, airport shuttle as an amenity is a clue, taken with other clues, that can help you figure out if it’s a Disney resort. Search on google for something like “how to find out if hotwire hotel is a disney resort” for more information.

You are too young to remember when the VW Beetle use to roam all over the country. Interesting vehicle . Very simply but not the safest in an accident. Fantasia was a movie that came out in 1940. I saw it in Radio City Music Hall. Very long with different parts.

You're definitely not wrong when you say it gets loud. Lol Last time I was in Disney was in 2012 for marching band and I remember being woken up to cheerleaders practicing every morning. Also quick note about the Fantasia section. One side is based off of the 1940s version that we all know. The brooms, the sorcerer hat, Mickey. And the other is based off of the reboot Fantasia 2000 that came out in 1999. That's the side with the toy soldiers, ballerina, and nut cracker.

There are minor differences in the bathroom. The pop shower doesn't have a tub but does have a rain head. Could not tell from this video If movies did. I found the mattress to be perfectly comfortable. They do have the same mattresses at pop and at movies. Also I think noise to the walls of just depending on how considerate or inconsiderate your neighbors are. I've stayed at the deluxe and heard my neighbors like they were in the same room with me.

Loved it. You kept saying the "cheapest" however I bet they would prefer you to say best value or most affordable rooms. I have stayed at of the Value Resorts except All Star Movies. We were so happy to be at Disney we didn't send time at the hotel/resort. If they weren't bring back Might Ducks on Disney+ , I would have to agree that one is outdated.
