Ever since I've played the first three Smash installments, I've always wondered what it would be like if the series was on a portable system, like the Nintendo DS. Though, I was always certain that it was never going to happen in a day in my life since Smash was known for being console exclusive. That is until sometime in 2012(?), the late Satoru Iwata, announced that they wanted to bring the franchise to 3DS and Wii U. But because no footage regarding it was shown, I pretty much just laughed it off, since the idea of a portable Smash game would've have been too far fetched to make any since. Then flash forward to 2014...and it happened just said, and you have no idea how pumped I was. After the reveal trailer was shown, I made it my mission to get the game.

And using that first advert, one can easily link Mario and Nintendo as whole to Martin Luther King Jr. Sounds crazy, but watch: The song used is Happy Together by a group called The Turtles. The Turtle once covered a song called It Ain't Me Babe, originally by Bob Dylan. Some of Bob Dylans more popular songs became anthems for the Civil Rights Movement. And , of course, one of the most well known people involved with said movement was Martin Luther King Jr. himself.
