After watching this video I think it's safe to assume that the reason why we don't get an audio cue when a shiny spawns in S/V is because Game Freak knew players would get frustrated hearing the sound of a shiny nearby and it being out of bounds. There are SO many pokemon spawning in the innacessible backgrounds all the time!!!

Solution for the void glitch in sword and shield if you don’t have a membership: Make sure the time in your Nintendo switch is at least 11:50 p.m. After this, enter the game, shake the tree and save. Then, when it’s 12:00 a.m. or later, open the game. Since the berries will be their, you just have to shake the tree and run from the battle. After this, it’ll push you out of bounce. After this you can enjoy all the thing this glitch has to offer.

1:16:05 For a quick explanation, any Pokémon that floats or flies when out of their ball will have that little slow fall when going off a ledge. They will only descend while moving so if you don't hold a direction, they won't fall.

imo the best use for the "water disappearing" glitch in SV is shiny hunting! you can activate it with a somewhat precise camera angle without needing to enter battle and use it to scan the surrounding area for either small pokemon like tynamo or pokemon with subtle color shifts that are harder to see underwater.

This definitely was possible (or at least far less precise if it does still work) in earlier versions, but was at least partially patched. It's now either very precise or impossible to clip the camera underwater while simply swimming, so the best options are in battle like shown in the video or to jump while holding ZR to momentarily clip the camera underwater while Ko/Miraidon dives down after landing.

That bike glitch at 7:23 used to drive me crazy! I used to shiny hunt there via the daycare, and every time an egg would hatch during the boost, the glitch struck. Eventually, I developed a sense for when to and when not to boost, to avoid having to fix it lol.

There's another glitch in BDSP where certain trainers would have Pokémon that know moves from DPP that have been deleted from BDSP as that game uses the move pool from SWSH. If they use any of the moves, the game straight up crashes once it tries to play an animation of a nonexistent move, and since the 3DS games, you cannot turn off attack animations.

I would like to add onto the PLA glitch where the game temporarily disables collision! I accidentally discovered around when the game launched that if you send out any one of your Pokémon and immediately walk forward, if you time it correctly, you'll be clipped into your Pokémon and cannot interact with them. The game will enable collision once you walk out of the Pokémon's model. I'm pretty sure it's intentional, considering it's been in the game since launch, but honestly I like it, it allows for some funny pictures you can take with your character clipping into Pokémon models

In Sword and Shield there was another clone glitch where if you got a hacked Pokemon in your game (I got mine from a hacked raid den but they patched it) you could put the hacked pokemon in the daycare with a ditto and if you tried to put it they’re egg in your party while already having 6 Pokemon in your party you could send that Pokemon to the box but it will be in both the party and the box

In my set up, I go to the obsidian field lands and walk as close as I can to Professor Laventon then I get on Weideer and I'm able to disable his collision box as well. Don't know if it's been covered here in the comments yet, but there's another tutorial skip method, or sequence break as I and maybe a few others like to call, and it's for the other side of the map Beyond the right of the tree next to the Los Platos Pokemon Center, going to the right of South Province Area One, there is a formation on a cliff ledge that vaguely looks like two triangles with their tips intersecting. If timed right, pressing B while running will allow you to pass through the little ledge below the formation, letting you walk on it. Walk through where the formation intersects and carefully go right. If done right, you get access to South Province Area Five; no teleport method or even Koraidon/Miraidon needed

The "mash-y to stutter walk" glitch was something I ran into within my first few minutes with the game. I realized that if something like that got missed, it probably meant far worse quality control issues with the rest of the game, and unfortunately I was right. Funny thing though, it was also the glitch I would check to see if the game was "fixed" with every subsequent patch since the release of the game. Never got fixed though, along with most of the others 😅

Just came here to say that I may very well be one of the last living beings on the planet with a DIGITAL version of Brilliant Diamond on version 1.1.1. I did purchase the digital BDSP package (the bundle with both games.) But my console is set to alert me for updates and not auto update. When the Menu Storage glitch was patched, my Shining Pearl playthrough was active and thus i unfortunately updated the game to continue playing. I was soft resetting Brilliant Diamond for a shiny starter at that time and opted not to update it given the loss of Menu Storage in the 1.2 update. So the end result is i basically have an unplayed Brilliant Diamond file set to 1.1.1 on my console =D

You missed one. When throwing a pokeball to catch a pokemon, if you hold "down" on the control stick while your character is in the "throwing" animation, you will cause the camera to zoom out. This doesn't change anything else, but it messes with the pokeball-throwing animation a bit and is very cool to see.

Something that you Did not mention BDSP if you have that cartridge version, you can do Method 1. Forever with zero risk of somebody messing it up. Using these cartridges it might be possible to create local update meetings. Like, certain cons or something. Allowing for endless update chains.

Hey hey! If all you need to get out of bounds in SWSH is activating the timeskip glitch (where the screen will flash for a brief moment), you can do a random online single battle and turn on airplane mode while it's getting set up. I believe that's much faster. The timeskip glitch is actually super handy. You can use it to farm watts or even den manipulation for shiny hunting!

1:13:30 If you've ever climbed on top of the mountain walls of the Great Crater anywhere not near the gate and then jumped, climbed, or glided down to the crater, you know that there is a loading zone somewhere on top of or inside of (? it's been a while since I've done this) the clouds there. You always end up in the same area of Area Zero though. I've never seen the stone floor of the main map crater before this, and I've gone to Area Zero this way multiple times. When sword and shield came out I joined a hacked raid and caught a glitched egg pokemon. When this egg is the daycare with a ditto, the resulting egg will duplicate the last member of your party. It was super cool to use it but it kind of defeats the purpose of the game imo.

Don’t know where to put this but I seem to have found a glitch for PLA where you can catch at least 4 of the 5 frenzy noble Pokemon (ie avalung). I found if you were to throw your Pokemon out when the noble is able to be fought if you throw just far enough away that you don’t engage in the fight but still hit it there seems to be a few frames where if you spam the map button - you can open you map and teleport out of the arena, From there find a shaking tree or ore and throw your Pokemon at it to harvest it and out pops a wild Pokemon defeat that Pokemon and now you should have you access to your pokeballs now just run or teleport back to the noble Pokemon and throw you pokeballs at it, it should catch it pretty easily now just return to the village and there you go noble Pokemon is yours. you will still hear the boss music to get rid of that music after returning to the village just go fight and rematch another noble but fail the fight and the music should be gone. I have caught all the nobles like this but avalung he seems to be to faraway to hit for the glitch to work

I played through SV by doing ONLY victory road quests until I beat the champion. I didn't know you get ride upgrades through the path of legends, so I traversed paldea without sprinting or high jumping. I relied heavily on the backwards jump and encounter teleport glitches to get around lol

There is a glitch in Scarlet that I get a lot. I'm riding on Koraidon and have the camera zoomed all the way out. I will battle a pokemon (catch, faint, run). After the battle, the field of vision is acting as if you're on foot instead of riding Koraidon. You can fix it by dismounting and remounting Koraidon. The other glitch I have is that the Two-Way Nylon Backpacks will lose their textures after a while, and you can look "through" the backpack at the textures behind you.

That LGPE bug where it always says "You" used an item has bothered me SO BAD for SO LONG. --I hate that it was never fixed, either officially or through a mod (that I can find, at least). Honestly, I might consider modding LGPE just to fix that...-- EDIT: AHHH and the text shift in the Arceus evolve menu! I've HATED that. I once found a bunery that spawned inside of a tree. You could see it bounce around and try to run away. Pokeballs would not work, they only hit the tree. I left to a different area for a bit, but when I came through the area again, it was still there, stuck in the tree. After multiple tries I finally was able to battle it to despawn it, put it out of its misery lol

I've had the Ditto glitch happen in SV on accident multiple times 😆 SV are so ridiculously glitched, I just don't even want to play them anymore. Unfortunately I bought the digital copy of Scarlet or I would've already resold that garbage a long time ago. Pokémon (sometimes even entire outbreaks) spawning in walls, us accidentally getting out of bounds ourselves, the game being unable to decide if there should be light or shadow so it just flickers back and forth, giving you a headache.. I had the Tera Pokémon glitch happen in reverse; rather than there being no sparkles on the Tera Pokémon, the sparkles were there but the Pokémon wasn't. I've had my Pokémon be completely invisible during battle. I had a Pokémon clip through a bridge and encounter me from below and it treated the battle as if we were on water, with one of those floaties underneath my Pokémon. I had one of the marketplace people in Porto Marinada literally disappear before my eyes as I walked up to them. I've gotten stuck the same way you did behind the Exeggutor except it was behind a Swablu. I've clipped into raid dens crystals multiple times, lol. SO. MANY. GLITCHES. And that's not even considering the horrible, horrible lag.

Here's another glitch in Legends: Arceus. Find a high point and drop down to the point right before you die. Next you need to pause the game right before it happens and warp to a camp. Congratulations on becoming undead as the game has disabled your directional input because you died but you can still summon ride and menu because you're also somewhat alive. Your controls will not register unless you're on a ride Pokémon and in my experience they're often reversed. It's a really strange and highly specific glitch but definitely fun to mess with. I personally recommend Coronet Highlands to do this.

There is an immortal Pokemon glitch (like truly immortal forever/cannot die not even from a 1 hit ko move like fissure/guillotine) that I discovered in red/blue 26 years ago on my Gameboy. Iv checked every now and then over that time and It's still not on any glitch list online or video of red and blue glitches, so as far as I know I am still the only discoverer of this particular glitch. Knowing exactly how to do it I done it again when the 3ds digital virtual console versions released to then move them into newer games (x and y at that time) and from Pokemon bank into pokemon home years ago when it was able to do that before they shut down pkmn bank. Then moved them out of home into Pokemon shield. They retained their immortality in all the games they were transferred into.

having done a prof. Oaks challenge in s/v and using the skip to sequence break and get out of the starting area I feel like I need to give a little insight into this. For starters, it is possible to catch and evolve 339 pokemon in the base dex without battling Nemona and starting school. You can catch 2 of the 4 treasures of ruin (Chien-Pao and Wo-Chien). And like in the video you cannot do any of the gym challenges/battles or the team star raids or the titans. Tera Raid also don't spawn. You can safely save and shut down the game while doing all this cause you can always fast travel back to your house (or the pokemon centers in the starting area if you interacted with them). The game pretty much runs as normal and just leaves out the story bits. Hope someone finds this useful

55:15 im pretty sure this is incorrect the Nintendo serves "save" your update data so if you put a game in and never updated it it will let you launch it. But if you put a game in you have updated before (and deleted) it wont let you play until you do update again to avoid doing glitches like this Its the reason that if you hack your switch and play offline on the nand then come online says later you can still be ban Edit. Ive also tried it with my copy of pearl and totk for the dupe glitch

You forgot the glitch in Legends Arceus where if you use shadow sneak with a shiny origin form Giratina, the game just crashes.
