Yeah their storyline is weird and I think Cardine wants Tariq because I noticed how she was peeping him out when they came into the classroom to discuss the course to graduate early. I think Jarbi and Cardine both might have sex addictions and issues with sleeping with students. Cane peeps that his mom only uses him to handle the bad things ( fight or kill someone) but doesn’t trust him to be the brains of their operation. I don’t think that he will kill dru but I believe that they will face some backlash from lil guap and his team and he will turn his back and let dru get murdered by the hands of one of them. I believe Cane will find out Dru is gay and that the little one day stand he had with the basketball player will mess up Zeke chances and give him a harder time on the team. Tariq is smart and I like the way that he’s peeping everything and not really letting anyone get too close because in this game you can’t trust no one. I do believe stern will find out but he’s such a money hungry jerk he will want a cut of the profit but want to be a silent partner. Tasha is dumb as hell shes normally smarter because why didn’t she tell Tariq about the phone call and that they threatened to kill him if he mess up. Monet issue with Diane is that she feel that she’s not loyal and can’t be trusted after that stunt she pulled with daddy 😂 she knows she can’t be trusted and she has to play her closely because as she sees she has her own agenda and Monet don’t play that.

I’ll admit that I actually liked this episode. Maybe because the characters that were in this episode. I just Love Larenz Tate. I’m not sure. I’m tired of the professors. If they are not helping with the family business no one cares about them. They focus too much on them at times. I hope they go the route of your prediction for Tariq and his girls. That would be a good twist and interesting storyline for Lauren with the drugs. I still need Tariq to go to jail at some point. The professors are freaks that are still pointless. I meant to comment on Tariq’s opposing philosophical viewpoints last week. Studying various philosophies and theologies, it's apparent in the academic world that their are various view points from BI-POC scholars (BIPOC = Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color) who look at scholarship through their worldview as a minority, race, gender, and class. They should've highlighted the BIPOC scholars because anyone with a philosophical background knows that their are current viewpoints not only from the white male perspective. Nothing Tariq is saying really is ground breaking in academia. Sorry for the dissertation, but POWER acts like their viewers are not well educated and this is their first time being exposed to the PWI academic world.

The episode for me was ok, I have nothing against Gay people but I'm SMH at 50cent and Kourtney Kemp for taking a page from Empire book. Ok so I watched the episode 3 times LOL and I didnt catch this until the 3rd time I watched. To answer your question about why he would turn down drew extra drugs and then call back. He didnt know he needed the extra drugs until after he ditched drew at the art class. If you go back he was trying to get rid of drew so he could pick up the gun. While picking up the gun branden calls him and said the app is doing good they need more and he tells branden he doesnt have enough to fill the orders. Tariq didnt expect for them to sell so much and branden responded that the students were ready to turn up or something of that nature. Thats my understanding as to why he had to double back and call drew. I could be wrong but thats what I got from it

I liked this episode the best because I feel like everyone started to really play their position well. As for the professors, they both have issues, but Jabari giving extra crazy ass vibes. Overall, the love triangle doesn’t excite me, but I chuckled at Tariq and Lauren basically saying game on in class trying to get at each other. Straight college foolery I’ve seen plenty of times smh lol. Monet and Diana dynamic is very off, and I hope the writers give a good reason why their relationship is the way it is. Those Tejada kids need better guidance on running the game though, because right now they are moving sloppy. Oh and I LOVED the app idea! It was smart and it kept Tariq and Brayden out of having any direct contact with the students, plus they don’t know who is running it either.

If I'm not mistaken, I think the writers are leading up to something with the Professor Carrie & Jabari sex scenes. Don't forget that after Carrie slept with Jabari the 1st time, she had to meet with her sponsor b/c she's a sex addict and the mentor told Carrie not to be alone with him. I think that Carrie been paying a lot of attention to Tariq and his situation as a means of distraction and I wouldn't be surprised if she tried to sleep with Tariq eventually..
