I think that Monet’ is going to underestimate Tariq. I feel that she’s going to try to use his mom being in jail to try and keep him in line by using her husband to scare Tasha. I feel that Monet’ and her husband play favorites with their children and that Kane is hers and dru is the dad’s favorite. I do believe that Diane is sneaky because she told Tariq about the guys that was wilding on social media and that it had her mom upset. Monet’ taught them better than that to just run off at the mouth like that. Diane has her own personal reasons for letting Tariq in and giving him the tea like that. She’s going to use Tariq or at least think she but Tariq learned his lesson about getting to comfortable with a girl from Effie. I do think that Monet’ is going to let Diane or Dru go to school to keep a closer eye on Tariq to see how he’s handling his business. I love your reviews like always.

Yes, I agree. She doesn't realize that her saying stay away from him is driving her close to him. She better watch her. Diana sees she can trust and confide in Tariq. It's clear that she has no one else she can talk to. I just feel like it's going to be bad bc he likes her and his classmate. That's going to be a love triangle between those two plus the sex addict professor. She feels like Tariq has a Oedipus complex and needs motherly nurture bc Tasha is in jail. That's going to be interesting.

I think it's very intentional that Monet's oldest son's name is Cain. Being that Cain killed Abel, Cain is going to do something that gets his brother killed (directly or indirectly). He's a hothead who wants to be in the life. Drew doesn't want that. But being around Cain is going to get him killed. Also, Lorenzo is like God to them. Cain was always trying to being an offering to God to which God was unsatisfied and when God found out what Cain did to Abel, he cursed Cain. Lorenzo is going to curse (disown/punish) Cain. Then it's going to be Cain and Monet versus Lorenzo. And Diana is a Daddy's girl so she's going to be in the middle of that too which is going to push her closer to Tariq.

This episode was cool. I just can do without Mary scenes she just not giving Queen Pin. The sex scene cringy asf. Jabari I like him as far as for Tariq and the role he can play in his life. I need more from Tasha per usual, they just dumb her down too much for me. The tajeda family in general is really taking over the show. Tariq is great! The white boy is a ehhhhh. (We’ll see). I do see cane,Monet, Tariq and Tasha working together to kill Lorenzo in the end. I believe dru gone die too. At first I thought zeek too but he too valuable as of now. He annoys me tho. I also hope they give Diana some of what she wants with school or her dreams cause I noticed how on stand Tasha made mention on basically giving her goals and dreams up for the game and I don’t want the same for Diana. Then they give the other girl the education and the way out like they did with Angela. Overall I’m loving the show and your reviews! I’m excited to see what’s to come. 💓

I agree that the writing was exceptional. There are so many directions this could go. They could go with Tariq making friends with Dre, becoming a positive influence, then Dre dies. Then it could go that the family either embraces Tariq or the opposite. They could also end up blaming him and starting a war. They could also do a Queen Pen vs Queen Pen, when Tasha gets out with Tariq in the middle. And so many other renditions on all of the story lines.

Love the review! Dru is done-zo. If he doesn't die, then we're in for a few close calls for him before his story is over. He either falls tragically short or he has a radical transformation after some traumatic event... Cain is so reckless. In another series, he wouldn't be long for this world, but you never know with Power (look at how long Tommy has survived!). Zeke is dumb and does not have the discipline he needs to have. If Zeke dies, Monet is gonna kill e'rybody! She would be more angry than if her own children died LOL

I wonder if Cain's name will have something to do with what happens with his character. Cain was the first son of Adam and Even and kills his brother Abel out of jealously because Abel was the favorite. But personally, I think it would be more interesting if either Cain or Zeke ends up dying. Cain is the muscle and he makes all the big moves. If he's no longer there, then Dru will have no choice but to start making moves. It could be even more interesting if Mo starts to favor Tariq, so Dru faces off with him. They both have the brains, so one of them is going to need to prove who's willing to go that extra mile. If Zeke dies, then it would be interesting if Cain, Dru, and Tariq is the cause of it and they need to work together to keep the secret and get back at whoever did it.

Like i thought in season 1 of Power tasha is celebrating her 30th bday and was 15 when she had the twins not 19 like she said when she was on the fake witness stand 2. How is zeke still not eligible to play and the bball season has started? Those athletic academic advisors would have made sure he was passing and they wouldnt need tariq and jocks only need a 2.0 to play so Zeke classes should be kinda remedial for a private school educated kid like tariq. 3. Mary j acting is so dry 4. Also are we to believe tasha was smart enough to launder money through clubs, laundromats, parking lots and not smart enough to have a ‘rainy day’ fund set up for her or at least stuff put in her mommas name 5. Isnt that black male teacher kinda too old to still be grading papers like he is a grad student assistant like what is his role inside tariqs classroom its confusing. 6. Also why did Tariq even need to be in that honors program cause he could still graduate in 3 years just by taking summer classes. Can somebody please let me know how Tasha got the phone and how Tariq had or got the number..did Mary set it up for the pill and the phone? I'm tryna figure out why Tariq was surprised when his burner phone was ringing when tasha first called last episode

You’re right, Lorenzo’s ppl gave each of them burner phones. When we first seen Tasha call tariq, his burned phone number was the only number plugged in. Monet most likely told Lorenzo that she needed a pill in Tasha’s facility.

I am with you on not making this a love triangle mirroring Ghost life...I would like to see him with Diana as well because she is a hustler like him and SMART. I think Kane and Tariq would be great partners. I believe Drew is going to do something bad. He is going to spazz and when he does, its going to bring heat on the family. Drew is tired of being underestimated and it's going to cause him to prove he is not a punk, but likely at the wrong time. I feel Monet is just like Tasha. Do or die for the streets. She need to let her daughter live and not try to make her live her life through her family. As for Monet, she doesn't know Tariq. Very manipulative and strategic. She better thoroughly do her homework bc she doesn't know any of the St. Patricks' reputations. If he finds out she is messing with that cop, he will use that against her for trying to use his mama as bait for him.
