There's a lot of Texas events the problem is getting them all to come to one spot in a Texas city. There's a few a year in Houston alone. Also I would argue this is the biggest "bbq" event in the US. Houston has the Rodeo which has I believe a thousand BBQ tents. I would say this is a bad ass event for a city that isn't known for BBQ.

There is an event like this in Texas every year, it's called the Troubadour Festival. There's usually like 40+ joints from around the state that come together in one location for the thing. The problem with the Troubadour festival though is that the food gets wiped out quick. It's absolutely a waste of money if you don't get the VIP tickets that allow you early access to the food.

Id love to know more about what that handsome young man is doing with those clods. I roast three WHOLE clods every day in the combi oven with SPG only, no trimming or nothing, but I know there is a crapload of sub primal cuts in that big ass cut. I don’t get how the US doesn’t care about any standards any other countries use and multiplies them, but then alcohol is weak af. Lone Star being 4% is crazy. Normal beers here in Belgium are 5.2%, stronger beers are 8% and above. No way any fat American would get drunk on 4% Lone Stars or 4.2% bud lights.
