If the lack of NFC is not a problem, the 8bitdo SN30 + is definetely the best option. I've had mine for about a month and I no longer use my pro controller anymore.

Same. Don't know why you would spend 30 more for something with less customization options (even if you don't use them they are nice to have just in case you do) as be a superior D pad. Also I'm used to the analog layout of it as I mostly played PS back in the day.

@@bg5510 The rumble on the SN30pro+ is nice. You can make it stronger via the windows configurator and believe me, cranking it all up is amazing. Imo, the Nintendo Pro Controller has a rather weak rumble, barely there.

The SN30 Pro+ is my current daily driver. Interesting thing that you point out with the stick placement, because the PS4 is the other home console I have. So jumping between both systems has a somewhat homogeneous feel to my console gaming. It was supposed to be a big deal that the Playstation Final Fantasy games were coming to Switch and to a Nintendo console for the first time, yet playing those games with the Pro+ just made me feel like I was playing them on a Playstation like back in the day. Which isn't so much the case with an asymmetrical stick layout.

In my opinion, the best controller is the NS32 because it can go a month without charging and has a 6 axis gyro, hd rumble, and a turbo function, making whatever button you want to be more sensitive. It is ridiculously good I’ve done some serious squad wipes with this controller.

I've used the 8-bitdo SN30 pro+ since day 4 of owning my switch lite. It's solid, comfy and a joy to use, but use it to play intense games that rely on the D-pad like MK11 and the D-pad will become loose and rattle inside its plus-shaped hole in no time. But that's its only downside. I've dropped it on hard floor and rage-threw it a few times and it's still fine.

Are you experiencing this bug ? It works great, i am just puzzled as to why the battery isn't detected, it's licensed by Nintendo . I have smaller hands so need a smaller controller cus original controller is a bit too big on my hand and it hurts my fingers after hours of playing games.

Been using my Gamesir T4pro. Doesn't have NFC and the buttons are labelled for Xbox/PC... but it's half the price of a Switch Pro controller and it works with PC and android as well!

Well your in luck if you don’t mind paying $100 for the powera fusion pro, I thought the brook xone se adapter let you do this through an xbox controller but apparently the audio doesn’t work wirelessly on switch, I think Nintendo didn’t include wireless audio in the switch’s firmware because that powera fusion pro came out after there was a switch update that included references to Bluetooth audio, so that’s probably why there haven’t been even a 3rd party controller with a headphone jack

@@user-zy2ts8kn7c it’s not a scam and no rumble or nfc doesn’t bother me but at 100$ it should definitely have both and other features like turbo, analog triggers with trigger stops, and customizable options for trigger and stick sensitivity, macros, and profiles, but I like to collect controllers and if none of that stuff matters to you it’s a really nice controller in terms of quality, it just should have those things for the price

Does the PowerA Nano Controller have Turbo? I see a button at the back of the controller in the middle.

Does anyone have any experience with the NYXI Wireless Joy-pad with 8 Colors LED? I mainly play docked but the appeal Of extra joy cons the occasional time I play undocked is a draw. Or would I just be better off buying a dedicated pro type controller. Thanks.
