I use the same 18v Makita cordless impact to work on all my RC’s. To all the people that say, “you’ll strip everything!!” I say, “Throttle control!!” You’re the first KZbinr I’ve seen that has throttle confidence enough to know exactly how tight each screw is even though it’s being driven with a tool with plenty enough power to destroy all of them.

Right! I’ve spent the last decade working in a factory using makita tools all day. It’s a trigger discipline.

@@RCeverydayexactly. I’m 46. Got my first 9.6v makita when I was 14/15 maybe. After 30 years I could drive a .5mm screw up a gnats backside without making him scream. 😂

The fact that I unfortunately recently lost my job, and that this RC is around $150 more than I paid for my Life size car that I drive everyday is just 2 of the reasons why I haven't picked one up yet!!! And cause I want to get the C10 Traxxas drag truck and have this truck to tow the drag truck to the races!!!!!! Lmfao, but either way I love all of the work and custom built chassis that you make!!!!!! Especially the Tonka RV that you made into a sweet Slammed Cruiser!!!!!!!

Wrong scale. Your drag truck would be bigger than your tow truck.

Don't forget, that messing with Caster will seriously affect how it drives. A positive (lower pivot point/ball joint is in front of the upper pivot point/ball joint) caster will give you a great return to center steering, negative caster is much too sensitive and will not want to self-center and tends to pull and wander. That's the basics, but if someone is curious about it you can look up how caster affects things to get more in depth. 😉

Mines a Bosch 14v drill and use it everytime have lots of screws to do/undo. Only strip screws if your not carefull I personally have never rounded a screw off and left it stuck in its hole! Self control is the key it ain't the power tools fault if it's in a morons hand! 🤣👍

I dont believe I changed the servo at all on this one, it is still in the stock setup.
