When you bring in non-experts like your spouse us proletariat feel like WE CAN DO THIS. Keep at it and thank you for your hard work in doing all this. Gratitude. I want to join your course. When are you doing it again?

Fun fact: Game of thrones political rivalry is actually heavily inspired by the british civil war of "war of roses" between Lancasters an Yorks. Yep that's where the lannisters and starks come from.

It's even easier when set to music, just as singing the words during a Bat or Bar Mitzvah makes it easier to remember the text of the Torah. Try singing the monarchs of England to the Christmas carol of "Good King Wenceslas"...

@@NelsonDellis I did not! Thanks for introducing that to me, and many others.I DID know the cute little saying for remembering the fate of Henry VIII's six wives: "Divorced, beheaded, died...Divorced, beheaded, survived."

@@NelsonDellis no worries. Great videos by the way. I remember back in 2000 when Derren Brown was only just getting famous and the internet was still in its infancy. I managed to get the email of his agent and asked about memory techniques (my degree back then was Japanese) and Derren replied with a list of book recommendations (Kenneth Higbee, Dominic O’Brien, etc) - I’ve since, by using techniques in those books, got three masters and a PhD working in medicine. Always will have a soft spot for Derren doing that for me - I hope that these techniques you’re teaching others will have the same impact on them 🙏

Apparently varies, but part of one says 'James you ken', and I hadn't seen any say 'repeat the twain'... wondering if it's standard, or you updated? Common (old) versions are: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mnemonic_verses_of_monarchs_in_England

Nelson, I'm a visually impaired all the way in Ghana. Sometimes I wonder if there is a way I can equally benefit from all the visualisation bits of the imagination and memorization process. Isotherm any book recommendation for a visually impaired for instance to memorise people's voices.

you can, you can use mind palaces like... conceptually. If I say, there's milk in the fridge, you know that without visualising it

Very Insightful 🌟 Nelson i have a different question could u tell- what's ur take on someone who is inexperienced solopreneur initially to attract clients when all clients want is a person with 2-3 yrs of experience in handling the projects but market is not ready to accept fresher candidates but demand too much ? Is being a generalist a good idea or is it creating the unique value which is important in such a situation.. how can a solopreneur create space for himself in the early days without wasting time...
