Besides knitting and crochet, I've also started doing English paper piecing . I don't sew with a machine, horrible at it, so the paper piecing is done by hand. (slow but relaxing)

I am so glad Im not the only one who calls anything in purples/greys/blacks/whites "ace colored"! I love the mesh jumpers so much, as well as the mushroom dress and skull vest. I really feel you on the wide-sleeves situation. They are always so cute, but not at all compatible with using my cane. I cant wait to see your redesign of it - galaxy colored butterfly sounds so cool. Congrats on all the awesome clothes this year, and best of luck with this upcoming year's goals!

I love your mushroom dress top part. I've made a dress and a top with that bust part. It took a lot of trial and error to get the right amount of ribbing, but looks so nice. Thanks for the inspiration ❤

mic knocking aside. The audio quality is sounding good! Also I adore the eevolution cardigan I would definitely put in the effort to make it a little bigger (that way the eevee on the back will look even better as well) the sleeve, strip of cloth, sleeve thing is indeed called a shrug. I made an ace color cardigan as well but not in a mesh style.

If you want to combine seewing and crochet a easy project would be for exemple a straight skirt with a lace stitch or one with a lot of holes you can't wear without a lining, or you can make lace on the end of a top sleeves and its botton (the only difficulty is if you want the lace to be crochet directly on the clothe and not to sew a pre-made complete crocheted piece to the clothe) Like always a good videos :)

A little tip. If you need an inch measurement, use the joints of your pointer finger. The space between the tip of your finger, not necessarily your nail, and the first joint is one inch, and between each joint is an inch.

I loved all your clothing items. Stitches sweater is one of my faves just because of the character association. The skulls is probably my #2 just because of the work you did (skulls are not necessarily my aesthetic) but I will forever love the toadstool dress just because how well it actually fits you. You did great on the shaping and to me that is the most difficult thing to do. Would love to see you do a spider cardigan in the same style as your skulls but just one big spider. Can't wait to see your current work in progress for 2024 ❤

I am currently working on a cardigan inspired by the elf coat by Morale Fiber. Changing colors so often is annoying but its turning out so pretty! Can't wait to see what you make this year :) I made a bolero for my daughter. It turned out really cute. She's excited to wear it once its warm.

As a fellow spoonie, if you're going to try knitting, I highly recommend Norwegian style as it's much, much easier on the hands. I'm currently trying to retrain 40plus years of muscle memory to this method as English style became so painful.

Congratulations on the clothing, it's all really cool! Protip for the inches problem tho: convert the pattern into the measurement system you're used to (crochet won't kill you if you're a few mm off), that way you'll pick up on anything wrong way quicker! i can tell pretty quick if something isn't 10 cm, but if it's 3in? i won't know until i check with a tape measurer.

Finn the goldfish also to add to the comment of Charissa your hand can help you with mesurements if you don't always got your ruller or mesure tape with you. your thumb is approximately 5cm or 2 inches your pointer finger joint is 3cm or 1in . from the top of your thumb to the top of your pointer finger is 15cm or 6 inch. your fist is 10cm or 4 inch large.from the top of your thump from the top of your little finger you have 23cm or 9 inches. from the top of your fingers to your elbow you have 45 cm or 18inch. also you can mesure angles with you hand still not an accurate mesurement but close enough. I can put that on a comment in response of this one if someone wants it. also all the mesurements I gave are average. I would advice to take your own mesurements and just memorize them so you can have an approximation . if I made mistakes in my English feel free to correct me I'm French

Very nice crochet clothing collection for 2023! Although it's not clothing, perhaps in 2024 you might consider making/designing some crochet bags? I myself am hoping to make a bag for the side of my wheelchair. Purses are always nice even if I don't get as much use out of them. Perhaps a dual purpose type of bag with handles as well as ties for attaching to side of wheelchair (or walker). Lining the bag with a coordinating fabric or adding an outside pocket, handles, straps, or ties for the bag made with a coordinating fabric would incorporate sewing into the project as would attaching a zipper. Yes!! I've been planning to try a messenger bag style of project for a while but I love the idea of a bag designed specifically for wheelchairs. I don't think I've ever come across a decently sized bag that fits comfortably on the back of mine without somehow getting in the way of the wheels. I guess the solution is to make one myself lol.

Love the Hexi Rainbow Cardigan. That bottom on it looks great. I made a Granny Pop Hoodie Cardigan that I love. It's the 1st clothing piece that I love wearing besides the scarves and shawls I've made.

...how in the world does a tape measure get so wrong that 3" becomes more like 9", that is mind boggling. What happened in that factory? 1 inch should be roughly 2.5cm and a manufacturer should know that. anyway. These are adorable (even the disaster) and I want an Eevee cardigan too now. The butterfly one is my favorite. Maybe just making the sleeves shorter would help, like 3/4 length or whatever would put it above your mobility aids? Nothing wrong with making it narrow, of course, but it seems like sleeves that length would be a nuisance anyway. (But I can't wear long sleeves without overheating even in winter, so that might just be me.) And while I'm tossing out unsolicited suggestions, maybe adding vertical black lines at the points would make the bottom of the neon rainbow outfit mesh with the top better?
