I am crocheting a cropped shrug for my granddaughter and was casting from my phone to the tube. You came up randomly in my feed. Soooooooooooo glad you did. You are a phenomenal crocheter. So inspiring. I throughly enjoyed this video and subscribed right after it concluded. My crochet goal this year is to take my crochet to the next level. I primarily used thrifted yarn so I always hold two yarn strands together. What I thrift is never enough for a full garment. My goal is to make wearables that are colorful but imaginative and detailed. Again, thank you for the inspiration. And good luck on your Dads bicycle sweater. Can hardly wait to watch the wedding prep videos. Congratulations on your soon to be nuptials and I’ll be watching! 😊

Ad a larger chested woman, the "pentagon top" would be great addition to a tank top, like a nice splash of color or something.... Or I might add a wider border on the front panels to make sure everything is covered and either change placement of tie or have 2 toggle closures or something. I love the top idea! You did great work!!❤

I think my fav things are the hexagonal flower granny square crop top and milk tea shirt blouse, also really loved the cumulous caardigan as well, currently the blocking the panel lol I also made the heart card holder but still need to sew it together even though I finished it like 6 months ago (though I started it like 10 months ago) but I was still new so I didnt leave any ends to sew it to need to figure that out but its so pretty especially the heart design this is really giving me the motivation to make the fruit bag cause I have the pattern and the yarn but nothing so far

Thank you so much for creating/posting this 2023 crochet wrap up video! I’ve been crocheting off and on since university (mid-1990s) but I never made a sweater for myself until 2019. Since the global pandemic, I’ve made so many garments for myself, my teenager daughter and nieces. I love your rating system as I have several pieces that although I wear them at home, I wouldn’t necessarily wear to work because I work in a pretty stuffy office. Your rat is amazing!❤️ I will definitely start following you and trying your patterns and adapting them for my daughter, nieces, and myself. I’m turning 50 in a couple weeks and my New Year’s resolution is to be more true to myself, damn the consequences. Happy New Year! 🎉

it’s Järbo Cookie in Flowery! it’s a worsted weight yarn. I’ll weigh it later to see how much I used! ☺️

it’s 200g, which is exactly one yarn cake of the Järbo Cookie! I’m pretty short though, just for sizing reference, if you want to make it bigger/longer.

Thank you for pointing this out! My account name stems from the name of an artificial fishing fly, called the Woolly Bugger. I started Wool and Buggers with my fiancé Aleks, who specializes in fly tying. Bugger in this case is bug, not the UK meaning, thankfully, which I’ve learned in later years (non-native English speaker so I honestly had no idea and thought it was like a cutesy word for bug). We decided to divide our content in two because it was hard to please the algorithm while posting about two seemingly very different things (crocheting and fly tying 🙈), but I’ve kept the name to honor its origins. I also posted about this on my Instagram a while back and had lots of people weigh in on the name, which has also been helpful in deciding to keep it. I’ll make a highlight of it on my IG!
