They always enjoy favoritism in the courtroom. The Police Union has far too much power and it always forks out considerable amounts of money for those cops to have the most high powered attorneys, with unlimited resources to fund "expert" witnesses and a fleet of young attorneys (usually top 5% of their law school graduating class) doing leg work and researching through prior cases and law books/journals. Pitting them against a victim's humble family is like David vs Goliath and it's so terribly unfair.

Damn, the cops in my state sure are grimier than I thought. I mean I was pulled over on the way home from work with my bright yellow shirt on which was the ugly required retail shirt and had a gun in my face for a broken tail light which was that way for over 10 years. Oh, and the time I had my new car tossed and had my papers left on my hood which blew away in the wind for driving 30 in a 25 I was told I had weed in the car because some skunk sprayed near where I was pulled over. Once they destroyed everything and found nothing they drove away. So I guess I shouldn't find them so grimy here in CT. No wonder why nobody likes or trusts the cops.

The one major thing that I think is totally wrong in every way, is when compensation has to be paid to victims by the police, it isn't paid by the police. The compensation is basically paid for by the taxpayers. This means the police save money and are basically (secretly) laughing at the victims because they didn't pay it themselves. This has to stop. If a copper or the local police force etc has to pay said compensation, then that is what they should be doing.😊

The police keep allowing unstable cadets to graduate, give them a gun, and give them the authority to use them. They are so easily triggered by stress and some have an obvious bias and yet somehow pass the psychological examination. This indicates, to me, that it's too easy to get through, especially when friends on the force tell them what to say. I really believe that the psych eval should be the hardest part of the academy. It should be administered by an entity not connected to the police for the most objective and honest evaluation that can't be manipulated by the department.

In the video where one male cop shot his female partner accidentally it was noted that the big dog in the house attacked him causing him to shoot the partner. In the chest camera it appears that the large dog was in a locked cage and the dogs tail was wagging. If the dog was out I would have expected the shooting officer, Wright, to secure the dog if the dog attacked. I wonder who volunteered to be Wrights new partner. If I'm remembering right he responded to a call from an apartment complex where a drunk lady and the drunk friend lied to the police about her elderly neighbor who elegedly hit and choked her. Then when they go to his door he answers holding a sword made from a saw fish and puts it down when told to. Then without warning the male officer tazes him and makes him fall unconscious and drag him in the hall, retrieve the sword and try to pretend they were in the right.

I would abstain support an eye for an eye bill that said said. If you take an innocent persons life the same would happen to you. In the exact same way. The court will reenact how they believe the life was taken and do the same with the guilty person. Plus, only one appeal if a pack judges agree that an appeal should take place. If not they get one week to continue to breath. They will spend that week knowing exactly how they will take their ladt breath and they will feel the same as their victim. Not sitting in prison for the rest of their life not having to work and have everything given to them with 24/7/365 arm security, TV, stereo and three meals a day. Where is the suffering?
