@@idunnolol4385 From what I read, Chozen faked Daniel out and got him to mess up the timing, but he knew to do that because he had been trained in Miyagi-do as well. But from a writing perspective, the writers set that up because it wouldn’t have been as intense a fight if Daniel could have just won with the same move all over again, which is why he had to get beaten down only to come back with the drum technique instead.

I always assumed the real reason the crane kick was perfect for the final point of the first movie is because it appears as though Daniel's bad leg is so hurt that he can't even stand on it and thus took a stance that kept it off the ground. So Johnny rushed in thinking he had the point, but in fact Daniel threw a kick that required him to land on his bad leg which is the opposite of what Johnny thought the stance was for.

It's super easy question dude if a fighter know's the move where he/she gonna kick ofc the fighter that gonna do crane kick is Obviously just gonna wait until her/his enemy attack or close to him,engage but for those who know crane it's easy to predict that he/she need to protect her/his stomach or face because it's the most fatal that can do on crane kick
