50/50 split honestly wont make the noise less. f1 engines are rated at 15k rpm but they dont cross more than 11k regularly. the new regs are actually killing mgah. the exhaust gas being used to power up the drivetrain. thats the reason the noise was muffled and the sound isnt great. 2026 could actually mean a better sound.

These new regs probably wont change anything about the sound of the cars, if anything, they will make them a bit louder (due to the mgu H ban). You have to watch some fan videos of the 2017-2024 V6 engine on track, they actually sound pretty amazing, the tv mics just dont to them justice (especially the honda power units).
