In Kazakhstan it is/was normal for family (grandparents, parents, cousins, siblings) to live together especially in more traditional and in rural areas. My mother grew up in a house with her 7 siblings, mother, father, grandmother, two cousins and one nephew. When she got older she let her two sisters and niece to live with her. In my case we moved but i still lived with my grandmother (father's side) and grew up with my niece. So family is a bigger thing than in the US, not just family but neighbours (at least in the villages). 😊

The Muslim Kazaks are a people who give out abundant blessings. As his grandparents were speaking the blessing over his fans, he said Amen. That word in Hebrew means to agree with that blessing and may this blessing come to be. Grandfather Qudaibergen taught all of his grandchildren to play chess. I believe those strategies taught in this game have made Dimash in his career today. Here is the family and many friends at his Papa/Grandfathers funeral in 2023. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hoO5fn1qmJWIoJo
