Of course for the first two finals here he was only on highlights, because the 2000 and 2001 finals were live on ITV with Clive Tydesley commentating. The BBC however were able to show highlights of the game in the evening. In 2002 the rights had returned to the BBC but ITV snapped them up again for the 2009 to 2014 finals. Since 2015 however, it's been back on the BBC.

d. n. t ranger having the semi-finals at Wembley plays a big part
@puskasisagod12354 жыл бұрын
@d. n. t ranger there’s is multiple reasons 1. Money. European football will get a club more money which is why teams priorities getting European spots instead of winning the cup. 2. Have the semi finals at Wembly ruins the build up for the final. 3. It’s no longer as impressive or important. In the 60s, 70s and 80s winning the FA cup was as impressive as winning the league. 4. The prize as a Europa league spot is unimpressive and is why top team who are competitive for champions league don’t care. I love the competition but major changes need to be made to bring it back to its former glory. Some ideas are not having semi finals at wembly, changing the prize to a play off for champions league and raising prize money.

I think it balanced out with the 2005 Final win over United (and winning the double in 2002). Arsenal was battered for 120 mins (didn't have a shot on target until extra time) and then won on penalties. Cup finals aren't always about who played the better football over 90/120 mins, you also need some luck.

And only because they cheated home&away vs ManUtd. ManUtd were by far the best team in the country 5 straight seasons 2006/07 to 2010/11 but you're not allowed to win more than 3 PL's in a row it looks too boring when branded the best most exciting unpredictable league in the world hence why Chelsea were favoured with decisions and convenient fixture scheduling all season just to win by 1 point and even that wouldn't have been the case if StevenGerrard didn't deliberately match fix the penultimate game throwing Liverpool's last home match of the season (vs Chelsea) because 09/10 was the first season ManUtd could go above Liverpool on overall league title's hence his backpass to Drogba at 0-0 but ManUtd still the best team no surprises what happened the following season and ManUtd were not only by far the best team in Britain 2006/07 to 2010/11 they were also 1of the top2 teams in the World in the exact same time period judging by CL records etc...and obviously undoubtedly THE best team in the World in 2008. Still hold CL unbeaten game record to this day and also 2007 FAcup final was the final of "Goals only count if Chelsea score them" ManUtd scored first in that game but finished 1-0 to Chelsea 🤔 it should've at least been a pen but the ball literally crossed the line and Cech was allowed to throw it out to his teammate and play on???? To go with all his other goal-line decisions he always favoured from at Wembley and he & his teammates red card escapes like he did a last man foul in FAcup SF 2012 and many more examples etc...Chelsea always needed to cheat to get any success and with the amount they spent with their fake money they never earned they shouldn't have needed to but they relied on bad officiating by far the most.
