I'm only 20 minutes into the video, but I already wish I could afford to buy this game right now. Also, if I ever make a game with echo-y letter reading voice acting, I think I need to make it a point to make at least one letter from a character you haven't met yet be read in a completely different voice to their actual voice, because you haven't met them yet. XD

14:36 Aavak, obviously Aurelia the mage is a beauty, who you as aspiring Royal Knight were able to see, and overhear, from a distance on at least one occasion. I am not saying that there was some love at first sight thing happening to you, but I am also not, not, saying that. 21:10 The reason for their stuff being on their roof is that the thieves that stole them all went in from the roof and wanted to leave the same way but fell and died or got injured badly enough they were unable to get the loot and you came and found it first. (Yes, ALL of them. That city's morgue was already full before the thing with the king happened.) 53:55 You got the Blueprint Arrow when you got the crafting pop up so it seems like you can get duplicate blueprints. Not sure if that is good or bad loot-wise. 58:00 3rd Arrow Blueprint. So yeah depends on how valuable those are to keep diluting the loot pool and 1k seems good? 59:00 OMG! What horror scenario is this? Loot obscured by vision-blocking mist? In a level where the whole ground is covered in it?

That treasure hunter clearly had lost sight of the importance of leveraging shinies to get other nice stuff, like a decent house and some creature comforts. More shiny good, but happy and healthy people better enjoy shinies, are better at finding shinies, and live longer to hoard and enjoy more shinies. Every great loot goblin knows that they need just a little investment banker evil as spice to the _mostly harmless_ loot goblin greed for best results.

My main issue with RPG lockpicks is this whole "breaking" concept. I may fail to open a lock, but I have NEVER, EVER, even as a total amateur, broken a lockpick... they are usually made of spring steel I'd much rather see a game tell you your chance based on your skill and the lock's construction, then just make every attempt take time.

That's not really how Carcinization works. It's just convergent evolution, and the crab form factor is very very successful in certain ecological niches. Crustaceans keep evolving into crabs because the individuals who have more crab-like features are more successful (than other individuals exploiting the same niches) on average, so those traits become dominant in the population. It's not like dogs are going to become crabs in a few million years; those same traits that make successful crustaceans, would be a detrimental in a land-based social mammalian predator that heavily relies on a symbiotic relationship with the local apex predators.

I made it halfway through the video and had to stop. It was making me dizzy and then a headache started. It happens sometimes with games so.. I gave a like and commented to help your algy rythm. You can tell this is voiced by AI. Honestly it's not bad, but there's just something missing, lack of emotion in the voice maybe. The uncanny valley if you will.

Developer of the game here. I had professional voice actors for the game, but then I changed some lines and decided to use AI voices because it keeps things flexible and I already know the lines have to change again in the future. Maybe I will get back to professionals before the game fully releases and the dialog is final. But on the other hand AI voices are so good nowadays and it would allow me to voice ALL dialog in multiple languages, which would otherwise be impossible.

I didn't notice the Action part I only saw rpg which got me interested.I can't stand ARPG's one of the worst genres to ever hit gaming. I still took a look I didn't see anything ARPG "Diablo" like which is a good thing.However what I did see was mostly reading and menus I am not into that. Anything rpg for me needs deep characters and deep combat.I also prefer to have companions to join me on my journies. Too many devs copy paste the same old ideas place npc and attach quest we need to get away from that and make real intriguing quests that feel like a quest. 1 more things games should not progress to replace the last progression it should all work together throughout the game.
