I couldn't agree more. I am a crazy LotS fan as well, and so sad that it never got the recognition it deserved. If only I'm lucky enough that another season or a remake of the books will come out before I leave this world

I would say it maybe didn’t reach a wider audience but it’s still very popular among its fans. I didn’t watch until a few weeks ago and it’s definitely my favorite fantasy show of all time. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a remake or some sort of continuation some day.

This show was and is absolutely amazing. I just wish it had gotten an ending without a cliffhanger like so many other shows have. This and the Shannara Chronicles are two of my absolute favorite fantasy shows.

I love Richard and Kahlan's humor when they are nothing more than themselves but when Craig and Bridget play someone else or have Richard and Kahlan pretend to be someone else it is beyond humorous. Craig is just that lovable fool and Bridget just has this mischievious smile that threatens to steal my breath away! It's rare times like these that I find it worth it when they take certain liberties from the true literature that this wonderful show is somewhat loosly based off of.

Definitely a show on the level as like Hercules the Legendary Journeys and the campier parts of Xena Warrior princess...which makes sense since the people who worked on those had something to do with this show.

Episode 18 Season 1 "Mirror" Unbeknownst to them, a pair of impostors, pretending to be Kahlan and Richard, cause all kind of trouble. Until they are caught and thrown into jail (hence the scene with the guard)

read the books, don't look that stupid series. The Actors are really okay, but the Story is like thrown into a Mixer togehter with a ton of bullshit. Sword of Truth is a Story which could match up with Lord of the rings or other epic stories like that. But Legend of The Seeker, never can.

I respectfully disagree. It may not have followed the books entirely, but it still remains a fantastic TV series until today given the fact that all its fans want it back. Why did you even watch the video and comment in the first place if you hate the show when there are many other sites for that purpose?

@@princessflorencia last question first. I bumped into that because i had seen the show and i really like the actors from Kahlan, Richard and also Zedd. BTW here comes the first issue. In the book Darken Rahl is blond and has not black hair. Should have been easy cause the actor also played Haldir from Lord of the Rings. But that's a minor thing. Spoiler alert, stop reading if you want to read the books! in the first season on some episode richard finds the daughter of Zedd and her daughter who is the sister of Richard and also granddaughter of Zedd and she (Richards sister) is immune to magic. In the book she is immune too but not the granddaughter of Zedd because she has the same father like richard also she was never captured by d'hara course she appears when richard is already in the old world (after he killed Darken Rahl) and she (his sister) is searching him to kill him. In that episode guess what his sister meets a "dead" man ... darken rahl in his palace... END OF SPOILER and there is so much more to it. I had written the comment because i was so happy that i found the books and then found out that the series is absolute bullshit. No offense to you in any way princess but that's my honest opinion. Again. I like some of the actors but the rest is like Mixer...

There are many articles on the Internet that say the series never was a faithful adaptation of the books but a combination of those that had been published before the series came out. Personally, I think it was a big mistake to do a series before the books were finished like they are doing now with Game of Thrones. That is my humble opinion

Books and films are different transfer of thought. These are different works. Yes, they tell one story, but each one is told in its own way. You can only compare by who better succeeded in doing this. although, cartoons and TV shows have boundaries in time, but books don’t have. I think it's rude to call such a beautiful series “stupid”. ...

I accidentally started watching the series when I was 12 or 13 and I really liked it at the time, but then I read the books and now I know they are like 1000 times better. But sometimes I like to go back to the show because I have a sentiment for it :)
