One never truly stops missing LOTS, and seeing a new video about these two from you was the loveliest surprise! As much as I am a R&K fan, I really think the growth Cara and Kahlan fostered in each other, by interacting and slowly becoming friends (or more!), was unparalleled and a HUGE highlight of season 2. They each completely changed some of each other's most radicated views about their world and it was absolutely wonderful to see, and you captured that evolution beautifully with your clever flow of parallels! One of the moments I loved the most was the little flashback of Kahlan talking about how love does not make a person weak intermixed with Cara deciding to tell her she is, in fact, very important to her -- character development in a nutshell. ❤ this was a true masterclass and I'll surely rewatch this a lot!

Hope you don't mind, I'm gonna pin your comment because your description of Kahlan and Cara's relationship is simply spot on! I love Richard/Kahlan (couple goals, honestly) but Cara's bond with Kahlan is so special and precious. I didn't know I could care so much for a character that gets introduced like a season later than the main cast. I detect some leftover LOTS inspiration in-between your lines and...I am looking with definite interest 👀 all the dynamics between the main characters of the show are so wonderful and definitely vid-worthy, and you will undoubtedly do them justice! I actually love Richard a lot too as a character -- I've always really liked the fact that he's a "traditional" warrior-type hero but is never afraid to be emotional and gentle and *show* it, ever since the beginning, which isn't so common at all for warrior characters. And yes, Cara stole all of our hearts right under our nose back then! Cancelling the show after such a great season will probably always go down as the worst TV crime in history 😭

He's everything positive that we associate with masculinity (strong, protective, handsome, brave, heroic, jacked...) but he's got none of the toxic aspects of it. He's got the sweetest, purest soul. He's kind, idealistic, faithful, respectful. I love him so much!

It is a MASTERPIECE! ❤‍🔥It is the best one I ever seen. And I like Richard and all, but Cara and Kahlan chemistry is soo much better. They have this "opposites attract" theme, but they aren't so different when they get to know the other and because of that they understand each other better than Kahlan and Richard. Seeing a Mord-Sith and a Confessor, becoming not just allies but friends was something I thought was amazing about the story. Two mortal enemies, through trials become the best of each-other. They even behaved like sisters at times. Which is funny to see as you see how much they are contrasted. Each having their own unique strength. They are not perfect, like real people they have their flaws. But this makes them more human. Much more satisfying to watch their journey.

C'est super gentil, merciii. :) Hahahaha oui. En fait, c'est un monde fantastique, avec de la magie. Richard, pas présent dans cette vidéo, est le Seeker (c'est l'élu qui doit sauver le monde). Pour l'aider dans sa quête, il est accompagné de Zedd (un sorcier) et de Kahlan, la Mother Confessor (les confessors sont des femmes dotées de pouvoirs, capables de mettre les gens sous emprise et de leur faire dire la vérité et faire tout ce qu'elles veulent, elles sont censées représenter la justice donc elles utilisent pas ce pouvoir n'importe comment, et Kahlan c'est la Mother Confessor, la meilleure, quoi). A la fin de la 1e saison, notre petit trio croise la route de Cara, une Mord-Sith. Les Mord-Sith sont des petites filles qui ont été kidnappées très jeunes, brisées par la torture et formées à leur tour à torturer les autres - des personnes pas commodes, quoi, et qui n'oeuvrent pas pour le bien. Pour des raisons que je vais pas développer et contre toute attente, Cara aide Richard dans sa quête. Et du coup, une union surprenante va se former entre tout ce petit monde. Cara, en fait, c'est un petit coeur fragile derrière une énorme carapace, et son amitié avec le gang, surtout avec Kahlan, va lui apprendre à s'ouvrir aux émotions, à demander pardon pour le mal qu'elle a fait et à oeuvrer pour le bien. :') Ouais, j'ai décidé de te raconter la version longue. x)

So this is a show called Legend of the Seeker. It ran for two seasons before being cancelled. It's your typical epic fantasy story with prophecies, swords and magic. It had a really good mix of adventure, romance and friendship. I highly recommend it! Plus the fight scenes were beautifully shot.
