In Florida you're always on the gas. Especially once you have the endurance to really go fast. That's why a lot of mountain bikers from Florida do well in the mountains.

Great video and overview of the trail. I’m going to add VK to the list!

I just went last weekend. This place was a lot of fun. It was technical and there were a lot of opportunities to gain speed and keep a good flow. If this place had a few more jumps within the trails it would be awesome. Definitely going back.

Thank you! There’ll be some bangers from Whistler and British Colombia coming up this summer.

You ripped it. They pack a lot into a Tiny little postage stamp of land. I am always surprised at how many Florida riders with tight tree trails ride with the wide ass handlebars that come in todays bikes.

Great video!! How do tackle those steep drops in Panama City do you just get your weight back? Last time I went it was intimidating and I punked out.

Fort Myers… have you been to Hillsborough yet? Usually I see a lot of riders from CRP when it’s closed.
@coreymtb2 жыл бұрын
I have not heard of 'Hillsborough' with regard to mtn biking. I know of Hillsborough county. And a Hillsborough road in North Port (which did have a dirt bike trail along it waaaaay back).

@@coreymtb Yes,... Hillsborough road in North Port. I've been building there for just over 10 years. It has become a popular place to ride these past few years. It is a directional trail like CRP. It is 6 miles long and slowly growing. There's also two other trail systems here...one is not running during the rainy season, and the other is PBR (a technical awesome trail system). Hillsborough is best during the rainy season. Stop by and give it try.

@@HillsberryMTB I actually started mountain biking on the Myakka Creek trail 15 years ago. When I head back to FL for the winter I'll try to check it out.

You must have tried the ladyslipper trails during that time when you first started. That was a crazy trail system with huge wooden drops, and such. The riders who use to build back then at ladyslipper now build and maintain PBR. It’s a wicked nice trail. Ladyslipper is long gone, but the Environmental park has awesome trails (17miles). That’s best during the winter months. All three trail systems will be up and running in the winter here in North Port. I hope to run into you when you do visit… awesome!

Hello again! Yes it used to be a landfill, but you didn't say that it's next to a sewage treatment plant, and was nearly completely destroyed by Hurricane Irma. But I don't know if you heard the sad news. The City of Miami closed the Outdoor Center, and may close the trails, to build homeless "tiny homes". There's a petition to stop it and a protest at City Hall I think this week. It would be a shame, great trails at a great location, and tens of thousands of man-hours of trail building lost... down the toilet. Thanks for your video, please call City Hall and say you won't visit Miami if they close VK! Seriously! Thank you. ✊🖕

I heard about the tiny homes and the rec centre which is f@@king disgraceful from the city, but I didn't realize that the trails might close as a result. I'm getting mad now.
@VisualSOLUTIONSMedia2 жыл бұрын
@@davidguiney1746 The good news is the tiny homes aren't happening. For now. City Commission voted them down. But the bad news is the VK Outdoor Center owner got kicked out, and the city is looking for another vendor to run it. Ahhh... life in Miami.

Just when i discover this amazing trail in the middle of Miami this happens. I wonder if it has anything to do with them wanting to gentrify Virginia Key seeing as there is potentially billions in there for those big fat cats.
@davidguiney17462 жыл бұрын
@@Synthwave89 thankfully that can't happen as it's landfill from when they dredged the port so the land is way too unstable to build any kind of housing on. Mind you, if they could they no doubt would
