Don’t forget the one ,bond married in „on her majesty’s secret service „ ( beautifully portrait by Diana Rigg) who got killed by Blofeld . He was devastated in the film as well as in the book , in the follow up book diamonds are forever , bond became an alcoholic and wanted to quit his job , because he want his revenge and not following his orders because of that what Blofeld did with his wife .

There's a part missing from their banter in Tomorrow Never Dies. James tells Moneypenny 'goodbye, my sweet' in Danish. "You always were the cunning linguist, James." She basically blushes on the phone. As she's hanging up, M walks up and Moneypenny is super embarrassed. Moneypenny goes "don't ask." to M in which M responds with "don't tell." That's always going to be hilarious to me.

An old, irrelevant reply time wise but I thought it was rather hypocritical for M to label him as a sexist, mysogynist dinosaur in Goldeneye yet she rather backflips when she was strongly suggesting inciting innuendos regarding Paris Carver. I remember reading some of the Bond books back in the late 1960's and from recollection Moneypenny (Ian Flemming never gave Miss Moneypenny a first name) was played by Lois Maxwell to the letter as the character appeared in the books. She was retro, very single, but had class and elegance as a cougar-type being besotted with Bond in an extremely lady-like manner. She was 3.5 years older than Bond (Connery). Lois lived to the age of 80 years - born 1927 and died 2007. There are some nice pinup pics of Lois Maxwell somewhere on the Net. Unfortunately I cannot put links here otherwise I get flagged by KZbin's algorithms.

I am not a Bond follower so when the character "Moneypenny" was referred to in something I was reading, I wanted to know more. Thank you for putting these scenes together. It was very enjoyable.

After a few seconds of her kissing Bond, I realized it was the VR device. Just before we saw it.

I will say Samantha bond looked better with longer hair since the shorter hair made her loom older. However at least she could see she kissed 007.

She's the only Moneypenny that got to make out with Bond - in VR though. I was surprised by that scene. Then Q played by John Cleese has to show up and we are faced with reality. But bringing John Cleese into the cast of the 007 movies? Great idea! Now who's next, Eric Idle or Michael Palin? Eric Idle is my guess as they don't want the confusion of the other guy with the same last name as a former governor of Alaska and McCain's 2008 running mate.

Chris Peplinski She didn't suit short hair unlike Dench.

Can I point out the irony that the moneypenny actress is named bond?

I loved the reaction of the movie theater audience when they learned the name of his field partner in Skyfall. It sort of harkens back to the old days of James Bond.

Exquisite collection of scenes- this must have taken quite awhile to research and catalogue - thank you for your effort!!

There are some Moneypenny scenes missing, especially featuring Lois Maxwell. From Russia, With Love and On Her Majesty's Secret Service and A View To A Kill all feature Moneypenny in extended scenes that aren't here. Maybe they'll be loaded when the clip is updated with Spectre.

Brosnan, Bond, Dench - three amazing, incredible actors who somehow shared screen time together and it’s brilliant.
