7:38 small note regarding mekanism pipes, the transfer rate increases with each pipe you connect to the network of pipe (addition) so the final transfer rate is the sum of all the pipes' transfer rates This applies to all types of mekanism pipes! So just make a wall of pipe (like captain did in McEternal) and you got the transfer rate you need :) It's kinda stupidly awesome!

Interesting, I went with the Powah , Nitro Solar panels , they take a lot longer to craft but 50k FE/T was hard to pass up, coupled with Automating Ars day spell means that I could easily outplace the generators with a few solar panels XD

@FaSMaN i don't think that currently matters. The solar panel I currently have out generates power at all times. Don't know if it's generating full power all the time, but it does seems like a bug.

You can also find soul lava deep in the caves too. Also when you get NItro you should upgrade the mek pipes to the red tier and paint the Ae cables red so they match the colors of the nitro generators

Just like there is the infinite water cell there is also a infinite lava cell that would be better to use than that pump for lava. There are other infinite cells beyond those as well.

@hikari1690 i think it's just those two fluids. The other infinity cells are things like sand, cobble and some other blocks. Searching infinity will bring them up.

You can really go ham with SFM and Thermo Gen in a hyperbox. SFM can send in water and pull out power, and its cable is a solid block, what you can so is a layer of soul lava, a layer of thermo gen, a layer of sfm cables with one block at the conner extending to the next layer, then repeat the pattern. Of course you need lots of soul lava, so getting thr bees before this setup is helpful. Fluid placer from justdirethings can place down a layer of soul lava very quickly.

I'd recommend a big tank for the pump to send to first, I think it checks to see how much space the tank it has can hold before sending the liquid to it, if you have a larger buffer it will always run at max speed and then you can pipe to your dimensional tank to send to the overworld

Might want to play a little with xycraft, you can replace most water sources with the hydro pump, this simple device just feeds water directly (at 100mb/t) into the block it is attached to, or it can feed a water pipe as fast as that pipe can draw.

Appliedflux is good for storing tons of energy into ae2, but I wouldn't use it to supply energy through pattern providers and whatnot, it delivers power very slowly even with full acceleration, even on actual ae2 stuff. The best way to utilize it is the accessor block and just using normal cables to extract power from it, which will be the main limiting factor. But ultimate mekanism cables give 3m fe per block of cable anyway.

I would advise using the furnator with bucket of Lava. It generates the same amount of power per ticket as the Magmator, but the lava burns slower in the Furnator. I think when I tested it the lava lasted about 10 times longer in the Furnator.

Using Thermo Generators is a great way to get really good early game power, especially if you're not afraid to pop into the Nether and get up to the Blazing level! Much cheaper and easier than setting up a bunch of wind generators at y - 300 😅

The Magmators look so good on the surface until you see how much lava they consume. A single Spirited Magmator will consume the majority of a ranged pumps output when it's running at full whack.

Besides, Vanilla Lava Farms, while the easiest to set up, are among the slowest, and to get a decent rate (let alone a sustainable one), you need a Dripstone Farm and an Iron Farm.

you can use applied flux its an AE extension mode with that you can send power with ae network and you don't need gates from powa

@@jesuslozanosanchez2397 You can put the energy cards into most AE devices, any import or export buses or pattern providers can give power to the machine. So if you automate a machine with AE then you can always power it very easily. You also don't have to use it as your only option. One neat trick is that you can use AE to export energy into a battery and use cables from there. Also, Mekanism's universal cables are not so much cables - they're really multiblock batteries, and you can export energy directly into a universal cable. By the way, their throughput also increases linearly with each block in the cable structure. I'm fairly sure Chosen didn't actually need to upgrade the cables on the thermo generators to the new Powah cables because even Advanced tier universal cable already has very high throughput when you use enough of them. If you use these cables to power your entire base, you barely even need a battery. Sadly they're also a bit laggy so they shouldn't be overused. (Same thing goes for Mek's liquid pipes btw, their throughput scales with amounts of pipes used - if you're making more steam than your pipe can handle, just slap more pipes on there until you have steady throughput)

Furnators are better for lava power than magmators, but do require a little more automation, the magmators only make 100k per bucket of lava, the furnators make 600k, and they're the same output at the same levels.

No but create pump can have infinite lava if there’s more than 10k lava in the chunk + the 4 connected chunks Edit: I guess there is a lava cell but it isn’t in pre-1.21

I think I was running off of 3 "Extreme Reactors" for most of my time (so far) in ATM10. I have built a Nitro reactor from Powah, and set up automation with AE2, but I'm really only using it to power the power orb at the moment. I'm currently trying to build a new permanent base, when I do I'll probably go bananas with the reactors. I've been trying to hold of though cause I still don't like AE2 (despite how good it can be), I just REALLY want Refined Storage and Flux in ATM10. I have gotten the quantum armor from AE2, but it just makes me miss the Draconic Evolution Armor from back in the day of like Stone Block 2, lol.

9th. I was too tired after boxing day shopping 😏 22:56 I don't think soul lava burn stuff... Does it? That said, iirc the infusion pylons can be turned off with a redstone signal. So I wonder if another one can be made specifically for true invis and night vision and use a wireless redstone to turn them on instead of manually going back and putting the filters in? Just a little QoL thing 😂

I need some help! I'm playing ftb evolutions atm which is very similar to atm10. I'm trying to follow along in the mod pack with what your doing and am up to the boss killing spell episode. whenever i use the pantomime spell with place block (or any spell containing these two spells), it does the spell but it destroys my spell book at the same time. has anyone else had this issue? if so could you please give me some alternatives or solutions. Create has a pump & if the lake is bigger than 10 thousand buckets, it labels it infinite, alas it's not updated to this version yet

Why not just use the powah reactors, and use mystical agriculture seeds for ice, Redstone, coal, and uraninite, and feed the essence from the farm into an auto crafter, then feeding the auto crafter into the powah reactor

I don't think you need as complicated setup with the energizing orb any more. They finally separated the crafting slot and crafted slot and only lets machine pull out of the crafted slot. So just a puller will work. I think. My setup near endgame world crashed and burned. With all the simple backups. :/
