Wait... when did I do that? I have such a love-hate relationship with this mod! I love it because it gives me that nostalgic feeling from when I first experienced it. But at the same time, nothing about the mod has really changed, and I’ve learned almost every secret it has to offer. Unfortunately, its features are pretty limited beyond building blocks. Just to clarify, I wasn’t trying to hide anything with what I said in this video, I was just speaking my true feelings. I apologize, that’s just how I was raised! Here in the South, we apologize for everything lol

Your awsome and i love how you show so many interesting ways to go through staple mods like twilight forest. Sometimes a little spice is exactly what it needs. I ended up cheesing this mod as well (love the mod, but have finished it so many times already). A tip for those who are hunting down the hydra boss since that can't be mob swabbed, the magical maps will have 1 of each big boss area on them (hydra, snow queen, alghast, cloud castle/giants), so if you clear a boss on a map, then its best to move to a new map to find another one. The dimension also seems to have the big boss areas in a repeating pattern in the cardinal directions, so if you find 1 hydra boss, you can go in a cardinal direction and expect to find another after passing one of the other big boss areas. As an example, for my playthrough, I had an alternating pattern of snow queen -> hydra -> snow queen -> hydra, in the north/south direction, so I just went south until I had killed 6 hydras (this will be helpful for smaller servers since you can organise for everyone to start in 1 cardinal direction from each other then all move the same cardinal direction and everyone should have equal boss spawns, so at most you have to travel like 5k blocks in 1 direction to get all 6 hydras. I really hope they add a final boss in the cloud castle/giant area. As it is, I love building with those castle blocks though, futuristic magical marble bases that look amazing.

Mods with ghosts, wraiths, giants, stuff that uses the player skin are really cool on multiplayer. Sometimes they really really freak out though

19:00 the travelling wand from enderio allows you to teleport through blocks & thin walls, even bedrock which can be really nice to skip some tedious progression checks

The Advanced Polymorphic wand from Just Dire Things works to duplicate the bosses too (except for the snow queen) if you wanna get the data models easier.

I've been using that powerful spell combo for some time. The problem that holds it back is the annoying vengeful spirits that spawn and can't be killed which makes the projectiles target them. If you can disable/remove the vengeful spirits then the spell would be even crazier.

There is no way you didn't plan that underground dungeon scene. I don't think the comedic timing could have been better. Also made me a little salty because I didn't have the eclipse gate wand and it took me forever to get to the end of that dungeon cuz it wasn't right next to the entrance, lol.

There's a spell you can make in Ars to make blocks disappear just like that wand. You can then inscribe it onto an enchanter wand to act the same way.

⁠also in ATM9 flight is disabled in most of the other dims but if you have iron jetpack (especially emerald) then you can cheese that by holding down your jetpack activation button and as long as it's the last button you held down you'll have fast flying.

You can't put the bosses inside a Containment Jar, however the Drygmys can farm them just by being close 😃

I found a fun way to cheese the lich was if you use a 'Self, Burst, AoE (to desired size), Heal' It will allow you to break the shields yourself and make the lich vulnerable.

20:45 - I think~ this behaviour is caused by a vengance spirit spawning from a dead mob. I noticed it earlier when you were fighting the naga, 3:15 you'll see the Vengence Spirits name and health bar pop up when you walk up to the projectiles hovering back and forth. Honestly, it would be really nice to be able to disable these from spawning entirely if you don't have the amulet to see them enabled, they cause problems with a lot of mods. MineColonies guards will target them, Ars homing targets them, they can clog your Industrial Foregoing mob crushers if they spawn thanks to their drops; overall my least favorite part of that mod.

You can make an Ars spell that has the same effect as the eclipsegate wand, and with as far as you have progressed, i find the spell version to be much more effective, due to customize-ability.

100% The Ars however cant be spammed just the JustDire wand!

@@ChosenArchitect for small openings, 100% agreed, however: Self, Burst, Sensitive, Propagate Projectile, Split, Split, Intangible, Pierce X4, AoE X4, Extend Time x5 will take me from y: 100 to bedrock in a single cast. Fantastic for revealing an entire swath of an area.

The final castle look like it will be a boss gauntlet. That means every boss so far in twilight forest will appear in the castle but change. Last I heard is that they are trying to update the litch boss to have 3 phases

You can use Amber bees to get the Hydra and then use the Wannabees to get the hydra heads, that way you only need 1 Hydra

If you can get it to have a spirit form from evil craft there is a machine that allows u to take trapped vengeful spirits and turn it into eggs. For the bosses

Another thing that helps with the twilight forest is to drop the items directly out of the chest and pick them up as the progression sometimes wants you to pick them up (I'm going off Ssundee's older videos)

you should definitely go ahead and put a RFTools Builder above the castle and let it mine literally everything it can using a Silk Touch Clearing Quarry Module which sends everything it mines straight-up into a DimChest so it all lands inside your ME-Storage Drawers 🤣
