​@@ChosenArchitect Hello chosen. I am strugling to find a solution to a Wood log farm without create or botany pots, do you have any ideas? Since create is not updated yet and botany pots seem a bit cheaty for trees (at the very least), I would really appreciate an automatic tree farm.

@@tomasruzicka9835 abit pricy but you can make a tree farm with Ars Nouveau. Spell Turrets can mimic any spell you can create, use fel and amplify. Both T1 spells. Theres Mystical Agriculture Wood Essence which is just a "basic farm". Theres Minecolonies you could start. They have a Lumberjack/Forester if you want it less "cheaty". Productive Bees. Theres proberbly more, but these are what comes to mind in ATM10 for me.

@@tomasruzicka9835 in atm10? Just Dire Things has a couple blocks you can use. It takes a bit of materials to get it really going but it seems like these packs expect you to kill the ender dragon on like day two or something anyway so shouldn’t be too difficult. Personally I’ve been using Mystical Agriculture on my single player world. Wood is pretty low level so it’s rather easy to get the seeds.

Little Mob Grinding Utils info, the xp buckets provide xp when you swim in them in exchange for hunger. I've been able to exploit free xp with MGU in other packs either because of infinite high saturation foods or items that just provide the saturation effect when held.

6:29 you should take those netherwood saplings. they can be grown on regular dirt in the overworld, and they drop nether bananas. those bananas are needed to craft the top tier silent gear material grader dust. graded materials, even lower grades, are significantly better than ungraded, when crafting gear.

That mob farm is a godsend. I absolutely despise combat in Minecraft, and that includes making mob farms. I can never seem to make a decent one that doesn't end up with gaps, finnicky as heck, or whatever other issues, and checking them due to needing to be some ways away for things to spawn is a pain in the rear. This looks a lot more like something I can work with without wanting to pull my hair out. I really don't know why I have so many issues with making mob farms; it might just be a cycle of being adverse to them, doing poorly, getting frustrated, which makes me want to mess with them even less lol.

for those that want to farm Ironspells, you can trap all the bosses and mobs from that mod in the Jars from Ars and make a drygmy farm, you will be overwhelm by all the loot, I can guarantied it

If you build this farm underground you will get cave creeper spawns which gives diamonds and other ores. If you need shit ton of diamonds you can use villager diamond armour trade in auto trader with salvager (can also with quatz blocks for quartz).

Easy villager iron farms are one of the first non-agriculture farms that bubby and I get up and running after starting an ATM modpack. Those suckers are so useful and not just because the poppies can be turned into red dye for an infusion altar set-up. ;-)

Overworld pyromancer has blaze rods. I think there may be a way to get some quartz in the overworld as well, so you can easily upgrade your Ars spellbook and make a silk touch ranged break spell to collect spawners.

I like that he's so experienced he doesn't fumble around and make huge mistakes, but also not looking at any of the loot or other mods because he knows 3 mods by heart... Not so good. Would be cool if he just looked at the stuff and figured stuff out. For example, I guess it took him years to find out chisel had a tool with a gui.

Just throwing out a random suggestion to anyone that might need it. With Silent Gear there are different kinds of swords. The vanilla type, a katana, and a machette. There are also blueprints for daggers, spears, and a mace even. -Even though its one extra base material, I personally prefer the katana over the vanilla sword design. Not only does it give you a slightly longer reach but it also does slightly more damage. The machette is better at getting mob heads too so if you're into that kinda thing...- Disregard the bit about the katana being better. All of the weapons have the same base stats. And the bit about the machette is from an older version so I don't know if that still applies.

i also like the dagger. its spammable and works well with echoing strikes from iron's spells and spellbooks

@@DragonSamurai182 the machete and katana have switched places in new silent gear rebuild. It used to be the katana did one less damage than the sword, but faster attack. And the machete was opposite, slower but +1 more damage. For some reason Mr Chaos swapped em. (So the hints in the quest book are correct)

@@Yappinator678 I just wish the dagger had offhand support like the old tinkers dagger, I dual wielded my way through atm6,7,8 and loved it. In atm9 at least I had the spiked shield. Atm10 leaves my left hand bloodthirsty

@@DragonSamurai182 your suggestion is good, there’s some great stuff in silent gear, especially early game. The hammer is great for early mining, the saw fantastic for harvesting wood fast.. the dagger is great for the spam clickers… the jewellery can be amazing, the buffs you can get to armour with tip upgrades, so many cool little secrets. Not quite as cool as tinkers in this respect but surely close.

BTW ender inhibitor also stops players from teleporting. I had in Project architect 2 travel anchor too close to mob farm and i coud get in but not out.

I always have problems with the absorption hopper. I use a backpack with a magnet upgrade and just put the void upgrade in there. You can also put a tank upgrade in there to hold the exp and pipe it out to another tank.

Yes the absorption hopper is slow, there’s a lot you can do to improve this mob farm. A lot. But what’s in the video is an excellent start and very cheap.

You should make a mobspawner with a arse portal to a killing chamber. then you can add multiple different spawning chambers that all teleport to one killing room for processing.

Pro tip. Use a Redstone Link from Create for your mob grinding stuff. Turn it all off and on with one lever.

"Just for the sake of satisfying curiosity, could you please reverse the gradient of your robes? The chest, legs, and feet apparel are close together and would provide a better gradient. The black is the most obtuse colour in your gradient, breaking up the smooth transition between light gray and gray. Chosen, Idk if you really watch anime, but there is this mod called Tensura Reincarnated. I think it would be really cool if you played your own modpack around it. It's very fun and it has a lotta of addon mods with iron spells, ice and fire, and more mods. I think you'll have a lot of fun progressing through the mod and seeing what all you can do with its abilities and such.

I used the Mob Crusher theres 2 machines for it. One gives loot and exp while the other gives pink slime and liquid meat. Pink sime is needed for advanced machine frames, which is why i used that instead of the mob grinding utils.

you should make player transmitter and a battery from powah, it charges jetpack wirelessly and with dimensional binding card (very easy to make, needs just an enderman) works cross dimensionally
