Hi there. I'm torn between this ME 90 and the Nux Trident. First, this caught my eye. And then the Trident came into the picture. Until the Trident hit the streets, I was pretty decided on the Trident, I must admit. But now that they're in store, I start noticing comments about some minor issues, which probably can be fixed in future firmware updates, but it made me rethink the Trident. How does the ME 90 hold up? I don't really hear people complaining about it, function wise. Soundwise, it depends on personal preference, but I intend to find that out for myself. I just don't want to buy a product and then come to the conclusion that it's faulty. 😊 Anyway, nice demos of the ME 90. Take care, DD.

Hi DD! Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. I’m also keen to experience the Trident but you can’t fault Boss for their product support. The software to deep dive into the ME90 is great. They seem to be able to make gear at a price point that is affordable but absolutely useful for a gigging muso. I don’t know how the ME90 will withstand repeated stomping but I’m about to take it out to gigs.

Can you also combine the effects with each other on the ME 90?

Absolutely! It is very flexible in that you can have your standard fare of combining compression, overdrive/distortion/fuzz, modulation, delay and reverb, or you can combine two different delays or modulation effects.
