To figure out the effect, or amp sim that’s activated, simply turn the dial for that effect / pre amp and the number that comes up in the LED box will correspond to the effect / amp sim that’s on. The same goes for the effect parameters, time, depth and level etc. Preset 7-2 is a pedal bend and 7-4 is a talk pedal, both are controlled by the expression pedal, that’s automatically activated as soon as you go to that particular preset.

Did you put in your own presets for User Banks U1 to U9? P1 to P9 Preset Banks are factory presets that are not changeable unless you copy over to a U1 to U9 User Bank and then edit? I'm considering an upgrade from my ME 70. You are absolutely right; you must write down your settings when you create new sounds AND save to User Bank - it's a pain. Good demo Joe. The thing I like is the FX send/return capability along with the many more (and new) effects over my current ME 70. The Tera Echo is huge - I can see why you like it. I've subscribed. 👍

Hello thanks for watching the video. Yeah I did go to the user section to set up my own patches. It's a great sounding unit plus all hookup features.

@@themusicianslounge8562 Thanks. Is there a name list of the P1 to P9 presets eg P1-1 = super low grunge/heavy metal; P1-2 = extra super low grunge/heavy metal; P1-3 = way out heavy swirly echo shit; P1-4 = heavy delay and phaser heavy stuff; ... and so on, you get what I mean. Also what the Preset patches settings are?

I have a pretty bad back. Has anyone here used this (or any multi-effect board) on a table or stand and operated it completely by hand (without bending over while playing to tweak parameters)?
@themusicianslounge8562Ай бұрын
You can do that i have mine on a stand all the time that way when I record i can simply dial it in.

Hard to turn on the expression pedal by pushing down with toes. FYI : I just got one today.

Is this unit worth buying for the overdrives alone (I love tones like death metal, black metal, Rush, prog, King Crimson, etc). I own an old Boss GT3 and it is so complicated and the overdrives never did it for me. Cheers!
@themusicianslounge8562Ай бұрын
Hey thanks for watching the video and yeas I think the overdrives are good. I play metal and heavy rock I think it does the job with some tweeking.

There are five different distortions on tap. You can adjust the EQ on the unit as well. You should be able to find what you're looking for.

Hello, so for my pedal fx, the light doesn't turn on, and my pedal can only be used as a volume for the expression pedal. How do I activate the pedal fx or calibrate it to make it easier to activate?
@GregCarey-cs8ul9 күн бұрын
Google it, it’s a very simple operation. (I had to do it on my ME-80) Also it’s a “momentary switch” like a cry baby, so all you should have to do is quickly tap it down to activate it.

hey thank you soooo much so i have a few questions im new to stuff like this i play a peavey vypyr x2 which is like a digital amp i have been told which would make some stuff different i've heard could this work with my amp i also do have a boss katana that i know would work but would prefer the peavey and can you run 2 guitars out of it ?
@themusicianslounge8562Ай бұрын
You should be able to go before your amplifier or use the send and return loop on your amp if it has one.
