Those people are churning out videos of this game, and they're doing totally awesome at the stages, much better than I am. And their video quality is probably better than mine too. I highly recommend browsing their videos!

I led off with cutscene Chapter 1: The Path of the Lion because that's what these stages are based on.
All in all I think I did mediocre; oh well. I did fine in some stages and I sucked in others.
At first I was disappointed when I learned that the new content was in familiar stage locales, but I do like these levels. :) If they were completely different they might not fit with the game.

I was a little underwhelmed by this aspect of the game but I'm very glad we got a little bit of new content, albeit just a sliver!

The first stage felt kind of like a throwaway, but the others at least had some interesting concepts. I like that we got to see the campsite again. I guess I just kinda wish that with the reused locations they also used the flower field since that only got two levels in the original game and it's a real pretty spot. Do you think this is a worthwhile addition to the original game?

Me I think it's mostly fun and worthwhile, but I'm usually not much of a critic of anything, lol. I like some of the inventive goals. I think they put more effort into how they look than the gameplay. edit: Yeah I definitely do like these stages although they're kind of a small addition to the game.

@@sloobro Fair enough! I think I'm gonna get the game either way as long as the fundamentals remain the same, it is just weird to see new stuff regardless of the quality. It'll just be nice to have my favorite Katamari game available in handheld form

A shame they don't become extra stars. I mena part of the appeal was admiring your hard work in a unique way. The planets in the Katamari games do that. And in a smaller less unique way the islands in Me and My Katamari.

There are no cousins or presents to collect inside the new Royal Reverie stages. There are stickers though.

I have my gripes with Ballerina Hunt. Like, if they're going to make it a stage where you need to collect them as fast as possible, they should really have set spawns and not random ones.

I thought these were all interesting and fun takes on some of the existing stages. Except Night School. Seriously. _F$%&_ Night School.
