I have the Loma bag and love it. I get 8clubs in it and that is enough for 18holes. Thinking about upgrading to the El Camino for a little more room and the large compartment to store a fleece or rain jacket. As a 67 year old and being able to walk and carry for 18 holes; life is good.

I bought a kenton sunday bag a few months ago (like 5 or so) and it is already falling apart. I'm relatively new to golf so I only put it under mild use with just a hand full of clubs. Last week the zipper for the big pocket just came of at the top and I needed a replacement. I have a bigger bag for when I need all my clubs, but since I mostly go for 9 hole rounds, I like to bring only a few clubs with me (And I can't hit the longer clubs very straight yet). So today, I ordered two bags: the callaway hyperlite zero for longer courses but when I want to go lightweight. And the loma non-xl for minimalistic rounds in the summer when I really don't want to carry much. My only concerns so far is carrying something to drink. I think with the loma I have to refill after every round in the summer.

I am a beginner golfer and am getting my first bag. I am interested in the El Camino bag because I usually carry about a half set or more of golf clubs to play and practice. I'm starting out with some hand-me-down equipment, and while the clubs are ok, the bag is very heavy and worn out. The El Camino bag has a lot of the features I'm looking for in a new bag, like backpack straps, stand, pin/pencil holder, glove holder, and an included rain hood, in addition to being light-weight.

They have the Ryder bag, which is now the biggest bag they offer. It's a full size (holds 14 clubs) golf bag.

They did just come out with a 14 club bag by the way, it’s probably going to be my next bag as my current one is a hand me down that’s probably older than me

I haven't noticed anything about the legs not being sturdy or durable. Pretty much the same as most stand bags.

Could you fit 7 clubs in the Loma? I dont want to dish out an extra $30 for an extra clubs so if it can fit itll be great

Yeah, but it’s tight, and can be annoying to take out and put clubs back in. Definitely harder if you have jumbo grips, or a large putter grip.

I used the Loma for over a year. 6 works out the best. 7 clubs and you will find yourself cursing SPECIFICALLY if you putter has a fat grip.

Loma XL no. El Camino would be real tight...id recommend their new bag "Ryder".

Their larger bags do (I believe the El Camino and Ryder), but not the smaller bags.

Agreed! The handle is such a great feature on the smaller bags! I think the moment you upgrade to the Ryder Bag (14 clubs) the handle is unnecessary.

The handle would be under too much load with the extra weight. And would be hard to lug around with that extra weight. They put a different handle on it. Works well.
