Great tips all around. One thing I heard that really helped me out was the mantra "Go as slow as necessary, but as fast as possible." Gamesense comes with time, but if you stop and slow down to find out how loud some of the things you do truly are, you'll learn to strike a balance between being quick, while not painting a target on your back for the entire lobby to hear.

heyy great tips here! I think that gaining map awareness is what really took me to another level in this game. Utilizing the map cuts to determine the most likely direction other hunters might come from is completely game changing. Learning to give yourself the advantage without just waiting for 30 mins in a bush will make the whole game more satisfying. I guess another good tip might be when to use crouch and when not to. I know some new players are gonna crouch walk from lawson to desalle but i think more wins will come from making moves and learning how to use pressure. Dude ain't no way you're suggesting using GeForce experience to help you confirm kills in a game like this, I understand sometimes it can be hard to confirm a kill but thats just scummy as hell. Just play the game and stop looking for outside sources that is not in the game to help you out.

I knew that you could use GeForce Experience to record highlights and I use it post-match to learn from my mistakes. Using it mid-gunfight to confirm a kill really does feel like cheating .. Never gonna resort to such methods.

5:00 Berthier can partial reload without bullet grubber if you have a seperate ammo type. Pressing x to swap from spitzer to fire or whatever will have the character remove the clip without losing it

Great tips a couple of those were new to me. Here is one I use a lot : you can use beetles and poison sense or vigilance to spot traps from far away. Plus, if someone is poisoned you can track them with the beetles. And if you use regular beetles, you might even be able to finish him off if the poison shots or hives really deal enough damage.

1 thing I would add is that if you are extracting during the last few seconds of the match you will extract even if an enemy "blocks" your extraction timer. One time I got downed as a solo during my extraction so I waited till the timer was at 1 sec left to res and I saved my hunter.

You can save all ammo on a partial reload with a berth if you run half / half. When you use the "ammo type swap" button, it'll reload the rifle and save all ammo that was in it at the time of the ammo swap

I don't know if you know yet, Berthier can reload without bullet grubber if you bring 2 type of bullets, when you change your ammo type you will not lose your bullet. and if you have 1 bullet in chamber you still reload almost as fast as when you out of bullet, so don't reload or change your ammo type when you has more than 1 bullets, only when you really want :v

for the reload or heal one i think best option would have been to pop that vitality shot and then reload it's probably the safest bet even if we ignore the 9 bullets in the carbine since the shot would have healed you full unlike the medkit that only healed you half way and was slower

It's not always about the bleed why people dont swap to their medkit. The bleed doesn't mean much, but the potential an enemy is pushing you does. Why swap to your med kit if you're being pushed? Just hold F to temporarily stop the bleeding, then raise your gun and kill them, then heal when the threat is gone. Not all situations are the same.

ya true not all situations are the same, the bleed just creates a mental pressure that makes the player feel at a disadvantage, holding F in your example might take longer than the medkit+swap and will leave you not at full health, so still, before raising your gun to shoot, why not be at full health quicker? it's still a time judgement call at the end. 😉

Only thing I dont agree with you is 29. I prefer heal up cause I always carry a throwable or melee weapons to finish that bastard. It works like %85. If enemies using long ammo or shotgun, you have only %10 chance to kill him if you dont have fully health. Except Romero and Rival, shotguns cant kill you with a single shot if the shooter aren't lucky. Event with that, if you mastered dodge enough, you can dodge even a hipfire shotgun with regular shot. I Prefer healing and if they rush towards me, I will use my spear or one body hit kill throwing axe and try my luck.
