Great video. The only differences I have in my arsenal, are an "encapsulated" wire brush (a few less "flyers"). And, a OEM tools brake pedal depressor with a freeze plug welded on the end, for the occasional stubborn job (I'm a one-man band).

one tool that works in place of the thin wrenches and i keep on my cart just for brake work is thin head Knipex cobra pliers. i use them for the caliper pin nuts and also great for sway bar link nuts

This is why I love my 83 Monte Carlo. You don't need half a million dollars worth of tools and testing equipment to work on it. You don't need a freaking degree in quantum physics , it doesn't have stupid shit like TPMS sensors. Everything is easy to get to and work on you don't need to pay 600.00 to have you spark plugs changed because car manufacturers decided 35 years ago hey let's put a bunch of useless shit in the way. And let's make a 30-minute job a 5 1/2 hour job now. Oh yeah and let's take the high beam switch off the floor and now we'll put it up on the turn signal handle which is the dumbest thing ever . Auto dimming side mirrors, overly engineered cup holders touch screen controls for everything, Overly complex and useless sensors the list just goes on and on of all the stupid ridiculous shit automakers have added to cars over the last 40 years.

Most of the time on all makes lately scan tool retracting the rear Calipers doesn't work. Like 90%of the time. I'm using a snap on Zeus and a xtool D8. I usually end up taking the motor off the caliper and doing it that way

I have been using sil glyde since the 1960’s for brakes and door seals

When I hang a caliper, that works really well for a place to also hang your air hose, with the impact gun, right on the caliper.... and the flexible brake hose sways really nice, LOL

What about the orange permatix one ?

This is what I've been using for a while now... it works great! Doesn't swell up the rubber bushings on some caliper pins since i believe it's silicone based.

Use a twisted wire wheel instead of straight wire in die grinder. Lasts 10 times longer and doesn't throw out wire like the straight ones do.

The 3m hub cleaner is better. Smaller diameter abrasive fits better.

Recommend the blue Gedore made in Germany, the red Gedore is most time Taiwan made. Gedore Blue = superb, very good. Gedore Red = normaly between okay and good.

What about a ford transit?! I don’t even have all the tools for those. I typically perform an on car machine instead of pressing the wheel bearing apart. Trapped rotors were a thing from the 80’s/90’s and shouldn’t still be happening.

All these cleaner tools you use you must be working on industrial vehicles or beaters.
