Great video series. Soooo much work a very busy year for you for sure.... I just wonder though, have you got any fails, UFO's, languishing around like the rest of us? Or projects that started as one thing but ended up totally different than first envisioned to save the fabric after a fail???!!! Just curious

To be honest, the last “fail” was in 2020. I take my time to pair fabric to pattern and that’s the key for me. I really know my style so it’s rare that I won’t like what I make. It takes me ages to prepare before sewing 😀

Every brand has their own look and rules for how they are assembled and I don't plan on creating content around that. Every brand has either a video or blog post explaining it. Yes it can take time but it's not time wasted for me because it helps me learn the pattern. I don't trim pages, I overlap the lines and white paper let's you see them well. That saves time.

My trick is to put in my earbuds or headphones, listen to an audiobook or podcast, and the time goes by really quick… and within an hour you could be done. I likely have undiagnosed ADHD (because my sons have been diagnosed with ADHD) because I used to look at the pile of printed paper and be completely intimidated to even start… I still do… but found breaking down the task into mini-tasks made it easier to Start; and get the job done - in my case, create horizontal rows, and then join the rows. But also listening to something enjoyable gets me started instead of procrastinated (this also helps with housework😂). It triggers my brain to start the work. I do actually cut off the bottom of the pages, and the right side of the pages and use a glue stick instead of sticky tape. But many people don’t cut, or they cut off corners - you do you. I work in horizontal rows from left to right, using the glue stick to stick the pages from the left, onto the right, moving across - and stack the rows in a pile as you finish each row (this way you’re not fighting for table space!). It’s then easy to glue the rows from top to bottom. But follow the page layouts from the pattern instructions - you could end up making the equivalent of one to several A0 sized pages. I have tried several ways of sticking patterns together, I used to use sticky tape but find you then can’t iron the pieces after they’ve been folded up and put away… or they un-stick in hot weather. Different ways will suit different sewists. But the above way just became my default over time😊. Also completely agree with Katrina, this is a great way to intimately get to know your pattern.

I actually don’t plan on doing that. You can’t just make a basic sleeve that fits all. Each sleeve will be specific for each, style, ease and shape of the armhole. If I make a sleeve, it would be very specific and not basic.

I use the colors that suit me. I don’t really know what you mean about colors though because I use a lot of them. You’ll never see me in pastels because they make me look and feel sick. As with anything fashion, it’s very very personal to the person using the clothes.
