What a beautiful flowy skirt you’ve created! Especially love it with your PE Songbird❤

Lovely version of this skirt. I was on the fence about this pattern yesterday but your version sent me to purchase using your link. Yay, a new skirt!
@jeannedyer593539 минут бұрын
The fabric is see thru. Would you underline OR fuse interfacing if that is a concern?
@LiftingPinsandNeedles30 минут бұрын
It’s only see through because I filmed inside with a big light behind me. In regular life outside we don’t have a huge studio light on the floor 🤓. It’s been storming and outside was not an option this time. I would line. I would not underline or interface if the fabric was actually sheer.

It’s been a lot of work the whole year. Just old fashioned lifting heavy weights 5-6 times a week (that I love doing) and walking to the gym & back. I work with a nutritionist closely to keep a calorie deficit I can handle. Keeping my step count at about 14000 per day and it’s been a slow process 😀

Hi Karina, lovely skirt. Do you think it could be made reversible if you used a lighter fabric. Then you could have two skirts maybe with contrasting fabrics. Happy sewing 🧵🪡🇦🇺

Cats like boxes. Get a cardboard box and close it up at the top. Cut a cat sized hole in the side and put insulation and something soft on the bottom. Put it somewhere where it won't get wet and soggy.

Wonderful! I love the ways you styled it too. That top with the wrap style back is really clever and cute with the skirt. Did you design it or is it a pattern that can be purchased? I hope you can convince the kitty!

This is a fabulous skirt, i’ve made it a couple of times. The last one, the fabric was too slippery to stay tied up. Embarrassing! 🤭 Ended up converting that one to a elasticised waistband 😂 Your blue one looks really nice. Love it with the white top.

These both look absolutely stunning on you. I've been dreaming about a print like your dress. For the first time though, I don't think I will buy this pattern. I love ALL the details except the tie. For me, I carry most of my weight there and don't like the look of a tie there. But oh how pretty. Also, do you ever share where you buy fabric if it's online?

This style looks great on you😍 What you did with the border print is just amazing! I love it!

Since this pattern has a waistline seam, couldn’t you alter your pocket piece so it can be sewn into that seam, just as you would a pocket for pants?
@LiftingPinsandNeedlesКүн бұрын
The bodice seam on the front is not straight, it’s curved for the tie detail, so a pocket to fit that shape would be totally different and would be bulky there at the seam, along with the tie. Lots of reasons to not have a pocket that’s anchored this time.
