I like this very much. The color saturation choices throughout the piece seem well thought out, and I like what was done with the use of light to increase the contrast and focus as the story progresses. The score is great... it sets the mood of each scene well, and really tells the story that the visuals set up. The tension and release cycle in the music has a nice flow and kept me engaged during the whole film. The long shot of the wall going to the mountains (at 5:33 or so) is good example of a bit that kept me hooked. The lone plant defiantly standing in the bright sun against the stark sky (10:36) is another. I loved the little "behind the scenes" coda at the end. Overall, this makes me feel the way a good blues song does: a little sad, a little wistful, a little hopeful, and a little determined to keep plugging away at life. Very well done, to everyone involved.

I came here straight from your "Why make music when nobody cares?" video (which I also liked a lot) - this is just fantastic! You never have to question why you should release music again! If it resonates only with one person, it was already worth it - but this seems to resonate with so many of us! Congratulations on the quality of the project and on the music. I wish a million views and as many likes for this video.

17:25 I'm just sittin here enjoying the video and suddenly, "Hey, that's Salt Lake International!" 😂 They threw that airport together in the few years I was living in India, the first time I saw it was when we moved back to Utah from India in December of 2020. When I moved to India, I left from the "vintage" airport we used to have here, and it was a bit of a shock seeing an airport that nice in a little town like Salt Lake haha. Great video, and beautiful music!

Incredible color work, both in the visual and with the harmony. It's interesting how this serves to render the border wall as a fact and not a political concept. The whole piece is like a more hopeful Ghosts from NIN. What a lovely thing you've created here.

Having spent 25 former years of my life, lived in New Mexico, I recognize quite a lot of the landscapes (even beyond the White Sands footage). I nominate this as the best soundtrack for an independent video made by my two favorite music-making, music-educating, YouTubing, mind-expanding, creativity-sharing, and soul-sharing artists I have come to appreciate and enjoy. May all others who appreciate what you share be blessed by your presence for a really long time.
After listening to it twice, "It All Bleeds Apart" is my favorite piece in the collection.

To make things clear, I commented to you both with the same comment. It is astonishing to see how 2 guys take some Thelma & Louise-like road trip and pleasure us with two completely different accounts of said roadtrip. As I follow both and "now" how both of you are opposites in many ways, I will not compare both videos. Albeit I must say both videos touched me in different ways and the experience watching your different videos enrichened me in multiple ways, So thank your Cameron & Benn for not only coming back in one piece but also, and mostly, for sharing your experience in a compelling and immersive way.

Best 19 minutes of my day, best 19 minutes of my week, why bother to eat - if you can hear and see this beautiful work of heart felt art, the real rot and decay of America, the loneliness of everyone's reality, Venus and Ben - two of You Tube's greatest, on a journey of dust and Devils. I'm just a drop of water falling, ever falling into the sea, and not even that great of a drop, a putrid drop of unachieved expectations, and the sea engulfs all of reality, can I swim long enough to finish all the records I started in 1984? I paused, I worked for everyone else, around the world again and again, getting farther away from my goals....my drop gets smaller - the sea becomes larger, dreams crashed on an ocean of rocks in the desert, I lay just a pile of broken bones, broken thoughts, unrealised potentials that rot in the blinding clarity of the sun......

Wow. I was looking forward to this after you mentioned it in an earlier video but I was ill prepared for just how amazing it would be. What a beautiful work of art. Both visually and sonically. The sense of desolation that permeates through this is almost visceral, stirring primitive emotions of longing at some indescribable thing that’s been somehow lost but not forgotten. Congrats to you both for creating this, and for all the hard work, time, and effort you put into it. Truly remarkable work 😊

So, having watched the 'what's the f*cking point video immediately before this, I was anxious to see what you had made. The first four chapters were suitably abstract and detached, but 'somewhere within that stale infinity' was definitely a shift in gears and hinted that this might be heading in a particular direction. And 'an end yet to come' did not disappoint; over those two chapters the video achieved a cohesiveness you don't expect to see in the absence of a narrative and with such minimal raw visual material. I think that, in the end, your music and Benn's visuals perfectly complemented each other. This is the best 20 minutes I have spent on KZbin in a very long time. I will share, thank you.
