I'm really a fan of the informational videos, don't have a truck to do this on and found your channel by looking for stuff like this. If possible I'd like to see stuff like this on the first gen, because it being all mechanical seems like it'd make a bit of a difference in a lot of this stuff

Love the Channel as I'm a diesel head. '07.5 RAM 3500. I run a Beans diesel sump. Highly recommend. Another thing: a good reason to run an air dog is better fuel filtration. I run a 2 micron which you can't in the factory housing, to my knowledge. Also, due to the location of the air dog pump and it's filter on the frame rail, changing the filter is much easier than going thru the wheel well which is not fun.

I've always wanted a hood stack lol. a mitre cut hood stack would look badass on there. your vids are awesome and full of great content and info Greg. it's very cool to see a diesel youtuber who properly builds and tunes their trucks instead of just trying to roll the biggest cloud of smoke they possibly can and nothing else. keep it up man

You need build a big shop. Love your channel. Can't wait for the killer Dow pin videos. I'am working on a 93' ford L7000 with a 12 valve and 4 speed Allison. It only has 63,000 original mile on it and it needs the KDP done.

When reusing the return like that, you really should return them down to the bottom of the tank. When your fuel level is below the height of the return, you're making a lot more air in your fuel with it splashing back down into the tank.

I love this channel and your work. Just goes to show that if you do honest work and you can take pride in it, then your reputation will grow. This goes for small businesses, KZbin channels, even just yourself in life. Way better than trying to click bait or do crazy stuff all the time that you can't keep up.

PSA: If you have the misfortune of doing a fuel pump on a gasser, it is advisable not to use a steel screwdriver or punch to remove the metal lock ring. steel on steel can spark if you are unlucky. a brass, or copper punch is the best method. Not a concern on a diesel, but on a gasoline jobber it is something to be mindful of.

love the videos man..you can get the sending units as a empty sending unit from the dealer. not sure on the part number but the price is not bad on them. Then you dont have to remove anything.

Greg, from what I see, I think that it might be more beneficial to keep the bottom of the fuel hanger assembly instead of cutting out a hole. My train of thought: since the sump pickup is right below and the return is up high right above, having a big hole gives the air dog a greater chance of sucking up air bubbles from the return in some circumstances. Just my 2 cents.
