All Three Hanks Endings Explained - All Dialogues - Detroit Become Human

There are three outcomes for the last scene of Hank. These outcomes depend on your choices, relationship with Hank and Connor software instability. Two of the outcomes are basically the same, but the main difference relate in the fact that you can visit Hank as a deviant or as a machine. The last outcome is actually Kamski ending. For this ending all of the three main characters (Kara, Markus and Connor) must die. We have in this case a special cutscene.
Now if you get the scene where Connor visit Hank as a Deviant, Connor goes to cyberlife to convert the Androids. In such a case Hank doesn't show up and Deviant Connor fights Machine Connor alone. Detroit: Become Human is an action-adventure game developed by Quantic Dream and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. The game was released worldwide on the 25th of May 2018. The plot revolves around three androids: Kara, who escapes the factory she was made in to explore her newfound sentience; Connor, whose job is to hunt down deviant androids; and Markus, who devotes himself to releasing the androids from servitude. They may survive or perish depending on dialogue choices that shape the story as customized by the player.
Detroit: Become Human is derived from Quantic Dream's 2012 tech demo Kara. Valorie Curry returns to reprise the title role. To research the setting, the developers visited Detroit, Michigan. Quantic Dream built a new engine to complement the game and cast hundreds of actors from Los Angeles, London and Paris before commencing the process of shooting and animation. The 2,000-page script took director David Cage more than two years to write. Philip Sheppard, Nima Fakhrara, and John Paesano composed the score for Kara, Connor, and Markus, respectively.

In a way, it’s beautiful to see these scenes when you managed to get the happy ending with deviant connor and hank as friends, because it shows just how important connor was in giving hank hope for the world and for humanity (ironic that androids brought that about), and also all the times connor chose to save hank instead of sacrifice him makes hank feel needed and not alone anymore. I'm kind of disappointed deviant Connor doesn't make more of an effort to save Hank since he acknowledges he's more than just a machine and acknowledges he actually has feelings (and probably cares for hank's well being? maybe?) idk...i guess with what Connor does in your play through you're pushed to the point of no return in your relationship with him, but still I wish there was a way to stop hank from committing suicide. Anyway, I appreciate all the effort that must have gone into this video, and thanks for actually explaining how you get certain endings instead of leaving us confused with how you got it.

In my opinion deviant Connor should be able to stop Hank from suicide by staying in his house and talking him out of it. Of course they won't become friends anymore and won't hug each other in the ending since it's impossible to get the relationship with Hank positive (friends) again after that point in the story since Connor and Hank are hostile when Hank tries to kill himself. But they could've made another unique ending scene based on this where we see Hank alone trying to manage his life or something. Maybe him getting a new job or starting at the police again.

Connor still seems at least a little deviant when he goes to visit Hank. He didn't have to, it wasn't part of his mission, but he still did, and he seemed genuinely sad, worried, and concerned even though he was still a machine and machines shouldn't feel those emotions.

If it makes you all feel better, Sumo probably wouldn't stay locked up for long. Hank suddenly disappearing off the face of the earth and Sumo's constant barking would likely make the police go and check on him. With him dead, Sumo goes to a shelter or maybe gets adopted by one of Hank's buddies on the force like Chris and Ben.

As someone who has been suicidal in the past, this definitely brought up some tears for me. I just feel this deep sense of sorrow for how he feels, even though he isn’t real, and it just makes me want to give him a big hug and tell him that it’s okay to feel bad. It’s okay to feel bad as long as you know that it won’t last forever. Permanent death isn’t the answer for temporary issues. He’s just so troubled and I can see how he feels, and I’m so sorry for him. Stay alive, my friends. You won’t regret it.
