Amazing. All the guys who say stuff like "there are no friends in a downwind" are just proving they don't know how to downwind. They only know how to prone surf really well. Both of you got up in close proximity and stayed together the whole time. That's how you downwind.

Out of curiousity, did you guys cop it for coming in at Bondi? I know they've banned foiling but I was wondering how strict it is. As someone looking to try downwinding this would probably be my most accessible run locally.

I watched this thinking how big is it gonna be at the exit? - how hard was it to ge out the water in one piece?

We are lucky at the exit there is always usually a rip we run into that is pretty manageable to exit
