I ended up re-wiring mine and adding some additonal ports (78w USB/USBC/PD) and a twin 30a Anderson power pole plug. Ended up with 4awg main wires and redoing the 50a Anderson connectors with 8awg. I then repurposed the stock wires that were feeding the 50amp Anderson connectors to power the 30a Anderson plugs I added. Everything else was wired with 10awg. Was it necessary? No, but it was fun!

Added master battery disconnect. 1000W Inverter sits securely in the center and in between the raised shoulders. It takes just a single strap to secure it in place. Overall, nice unit.

It's possible, but real estate might get very tight... If you ran a 50aH lithium battery then 10000% possible.

If the battery is 12volts, then no. 12v battery = 12volt fridge! Laptop will require an inverter.. 300w will be sufficient.

I'm going to ask a dumb question. Could you do a male to male 12v plug and charge this while driving from a 240 watt 12v cigarette lighter plug... or would it draw too much without some sort of regulation?

I know this applications would work in pinch but I wouldn’t recommend it. Will the batteries be the same? Plus you need to know the battery charge requirements

@@ItsChoeTime I did a little more research. I think a small 120v inverter on the cigarette plug running a 5 amp charger will work. Noco Genius 5 charger draws 87 watts max according to their info so probably around 100w with loss from the inverter.
