Hey David! Thank you so much for your work. It is gold! I don’t know anyone on youtube who has such well explained and professional contents about audio production and mixing. You answered so much questions I had especially when I was a beginner back in 2017. I’m glad you are so dedicated. I usually don’t write comments on KZbin but I must say again : just thank you !

Funny how you adviced to use fairchail compressors in a subtle and transparant way, while I liked it the most when I used it in paralel on a drumbus while absolutely cranking the living shit out of the knobs in mid side. I really liked how that changed the stereofield. And pulled up so many detailed details while also making the drums sound more moving and alive. I played with a hardware version

Great video, love this kind if information! Id also love a video explaining how to hook it all up with a patchbay? What if you wanna use like 20 different outboard gear, would you not need a patchbay then? I have 16 input and 16 output channels using one audio interface with 8 channels and a digital adat for 8 more. But that wouldnt be enough to hook up like 20 outboard gear.
