Oh yeah. In this game, Captain America's shield doesn't return like a boomerang. But in later games (Marvel Super Heroes VS Street Fighter and forward) it included it.

Here is one you I also noticed. If you use the Power gem with Psylocke and use her Maelstrom ability you get 3times the amount of hits you normally.

Honestly this game wore my fingers out, so past beating the game with each character for story and a few more times for fun, I didn't spend as much time as I wanted trying to see these effects, so thanks.

MY FAVE THING ABOUT THIS GAME IS STILL THE FACT THAT CAPTAIN AMERICA HAS A STRONGER DRAGON PUNCH WHEN HE DOESN'T HAVE HIS SHIELD, JUST LIKE THE COMICS I USED TO READ. 7 HITS IF YOU MASH PUNCH INSTEAD OF THE ONE HIT WITH THE SHIELD.

So no one does anything special with the mind gem

For every character it just refills the super meter for a short amount automatically. But for Thanos it does a unique (reverse input state on the character. It is instant and unblockable). But I did not include it because it is not a "Gem Ability", it is one of his 6 Super Moves that requires Super Meter. So it does not count for this video.
