if you think about it from a different point of view, the boar nickname is a bit of a funny meta joke in three houses too, since three hopes depicts how fights play out a little more realistically. Those same fights are happening in Three Houses, just that they're depicted differently.

It's just that it happened under radically different circumstances from Three Houses. His struggle is an internal one versus an external one. Also he was, sadly, one of the characters that got done dirty by the writing, which is, admittedly fine, because he was actually very fleshed out in Three Houses, and Three Hopes is a supplementary story to flesh out most of the characters that didn't get enough screen time in Three Houses (like Edelgard! and Claude! And Monica!). Mostly. Three Hopes Dimitri is Dimitri with a mostly proper support system that kept him from snapping despite his mental health problems,, and Three Houses Dimitri didn't have that support system, for various reasons.

Theres an ingame side story called a 'paralogue' where if hilda and marianne are the characters needed. The storyline is where hilda has gone scouting but is cut off from escape and sorounded, and marriane and the shez (your character) need to catch up and help her out. Marianne will continuously say its her fault with her crest, whilst you try to keep her distracted and say its not. When caught up with hilda, hilda will say its not her fault, and as it so happens, marriane will stop being as shy in camp, and it allows hilda's and marianne's bonds to be increased.

Interesting Lysithea doesn't have any considering she has some unique interactions with Marianne outside of combat, and it would at rhe very least make sense for Lys to have unique combat dialouge with either Balthus (he owes House Ordelia for keeping him alive) or Edelgard (Dual Crest girls ready to abolish the crest system as payback). Missed opportunity.

She was like that in the original too. Lysithea's always been...pretty isolated from people. You would see the other students talking to or about others or have close friends from their background, but Lysithea was always by herself. Even Marianne and Felix have a best friend. The only person Lysithea was particularly close to was Byleth. Bernadetta was fairly similar until Yuri came along. There's also Hanneman, but he's not playable in this and even then Lysithea doesn't particularly get along with him. They could have maybe done Edelgard since the two seem much closer in this game than Three Houses, but alas they don't even have a support chain now.

However, you run the risk of repeating the Lysithea/Edelgard Three Houses support chain, which is probably why they didn't have it in this game. Hapi/Lysithea could provide the context of their mutual TWSITD experiences, in more detail than what is given in their paralogue, but I'm not sure if there's anything worth adding or would be retreading the same story. With the game as is (without adding more supports and dialogue), would be Hubert. Their support chain is the closest thing that Lysithea has to "close bond".

It’s very weird that Lysithea is the ONLY student not to have a single one especially with her popularity. There was also not a “does not have options” she had Edelguard,Claude,Hilda,Balthus,and possibly Felix if they brought someone over like that it just seems like they didn’t like her or something

In the context of Three Hopes, Lysithea lacks past history/connections and does not develop any special bonds with anyone in the cast. It doesn't help that the game is more war-focus than it was in Three Houses, which inner-faction relationships are basically non-existent due shorten academy time. Bernadetta suffers the same issue but her only set unique quotes is with Yuri, the only character she is connected to in the past. So Lysithea realistically doesn't form any special bonds with anyone from the Golden Deer. Special bonds with members in the other two factions do not exist because of war. It's a bit stretch to have Lysithea connected to Balthus, as they didn't know each other on a personal level. It make sense for Lysithea not having any special quotes with anyone, at least story/lore-wise in Three Hopes. If I had to give her one, it would probably be tied to having the A support with Hubert, and make Lysithea a non-optional recruit in Scarlet Blaze. The context of that support is the closest thing that Lysithea has that would fit the bill.

I love the amount of care in the Marihilda interactions in this game. First they have special quotes on everything that you can have special quotes in this game, they also get A supports with two conversations, and they also get a paralogue just for themselves. If that wasn't enough, said paralogue unlocks their A support which later changes almost all of their special quotes to reflect on their development together. It's so cute.

A lot of units have this issue. Half of the Ashen Demons don't have supports with each other, Manuela doesn't have one with Dorothea, Lysithea doesn't have one with Edelgard, etc. We did already get a lot of those in Three Houses, though, so it's not that bad. I'm glad there's still a decent amount of special quotes in this game ^^

There's a very real possibility that Cyril & Alois could be added as DLC later, alongside characters like Ladislava, Randolph, Fleche, Count Bergliez, Margrave Gautier, Judith, etc. Though part of me is hoping that if we get DLC units, one of them is Awakening-era Tiki, since she could easily have some unique supports with characters like Edelgard, Seteth, Flayn, & Rhea. For all we know, they may even add more onto the story at some point where we either get something to progress past the current final chapters of each route, or we get an entirely new route instead (for instance, perhaps we get an "evil" route where Shez is approached and recruited by Those Who Slither In The Dark before Shez actually has the chance to visit the Officer's Academy, so that by the time he/she arrives at the Academy, he/she is there as a spy/mole for TWSITD....or alternatively, Epimenides asserts him/herself far earlier than normal and basically erases "Shez" and permanently takes over Shez's body, and that is the reason why "Shez" sides with TWSITD. There's plenty of potential for how they might utilize DLC for Three Hopes.

An awesome compilation with impressive editing! Thank you, and well done! In regards to the quotes, it would have been cool if the Children of the Goddess/the Nabateans used their real names when speaking with one another. Related to that, hearing Seteth and Flayn arguing/bonding as father and daughter would have been humorously adorable. Likewise, I was surprised that Sothis had no quotes with her progeny! No quotes between Sothis and Arval was also a disappointing surprise. Not a lot of cross-faction discussions in general... In spite of the omissions, there were plenty of entertaining interactions overall! ✨🗣
