@@aggy5372 I like to think that for the other strawhats, it's because they often face exceedingly tough opponents who are able to survive even their most lethal attacks. Zoro in particular draws his strength explicitly from being willing tl not only put his life on the line, but every ounce of power he has into his attacks. KILLING power, to end the fight. It really is just a happy coincidence (called "target audience") that most of his opponents are able to live to see the next year. But for Usopp, because he knows his strength is lacking, he creates attacks with usually no concern for power, so most of abilities would not kill the average OP citizen (although some certainly might).
