Spider-Man 3 8-8.5/10, call me a fanboy, blinded by nostalgia, this or that, but I truly do love this movie. It’s got flaws, but the good it does far outweighs imo. Maybe Venom isn’t the best part, but most else about this film works for me, making for one of my favorite film trilogies 🔥

I think the biggest positive I have about Spider-Man 3 is that I actually care. Because I love the first and especially second films, I’m invested in what happens next. By no means is what happens next executed as well as it could’ve been, but there’s plenty there for me to appreciate and enjoy. There are lots of standalone movies and sequels where most everything’s slickly produced, but I don’t really care about the character journeys or the big reveals. But I’ve always cared about Peter and MJ’s relationship as well as Peter and Harry’s friendship and I feel like I always will.

Agreed Like Sean said, the film had heart and soul, I have my problems with spider-man 3, it wasn't what sam wanted it to be But it feels like there was still passion in filmmaking, character works and other stuff Also when you read about the deleted scenes and what the movie was originally supposed to be(even with venom) you really feel like what a shame! What could've been, and you can even see some elements in the film that shows the original vision raimi had

Here’s how I’d rank these movies 4. The Last Dance - Enjoyed the opening 10 min and the final act, the rest of the movie didn’t work at all for me. 3. Venom - Once Venom is introduced the movie gets more enjoyable, but the first half is rough. 2. Let There Be Carnage - Definitely my favorite of the Venom films. It’s a fun ride with the most entertaining villain in Carnage, although wasted potential with how great of a movie it could’ve been. 1. Spider-Man 3 - It’s a mess but a mess that I love that is full of Raimi charm. It has a special place in my heart but the movie itself also has ablot of heart and has grown on me a lot over time. It’s a flawed but satisfying conclusion to one of my favorite superhero movie trilogies.

The Venom movies have always been guilty pleasures for me. I always enjoy seeing Venom. He always looks brilliant and way better than Spiderman 3. But I know the movies are always flawed but Tom Hardy always has tons of fun playing both characters I bet. I’m gonna miss Venom

1. Venom (best balance of tone, Venom vs the swat team and the final fight against Riot are both my favorites in the trilogy, memorable initial banter, I like Brock’s intro) 2. Spider-Man 3 (not a Venom movie really but msg be #1 if we were talking Spidey specifically. Has flaws but great resonate emotional pay off. I like Sandman, it’s ironic that the miscast Brock is who shouldn’t have been in the movie) 3. Venom: Let There Be Carnage (I’ve warmed to this one quite a bit myself. Harrelson was perfectly cast as Carnage and I enjoyed the backstory between him and Shriek though I do think he should’ve been kept around for another movie. Banter is consistent and plentiful, end fight is very good. This one could go up) 4. Venom: The Last Dance (even though it’s last I still enjoyed it quite a bit. I think the pacing dragged more than the others but I appreciated the road trip aspect for sort of a swan song send off for the Eddie/Venom relationship and it being relied upon completely in this one. The finale is a lot of chaotic fun even if Rhys Ifans casting was unnecessary. There was heart that worked fairly well and fit.)

Sean Chandler doesn't seem to be a fan of the third movie of the franchise. Have seen him say Spiderman 3 & The Dark Knight Rises as the weakest of their trilogy, yet both those movies entertained me. Now seeing him find new found respect for Spiderman 3 makes me happy, i hope he does the same for The Dark Knight Rises which is not as awful as fans r making it out to be.

Finally someone who doesn't consider Venom 1 as the best Venon movie. I don't understand why people like it so much. I used to like it back when it came out in theaters but on rewatch, it did not age well. For a movie that came out in the late 2010s, it already looks outdated. The middle act is good with the action and Eddie & Venom chemistry but the first and third acts are where the movie is affected. The first act is boring AF and the third act has way too dark cinematography plus heavy shaky cam that makes it look like a fan film. Not to mention, Carlton Drake is awful. Riz Ahmed does not fit for a villain role and you can clearly tell when looking at his performance. Also the pacing is both rushed and slow at the same time. Even though it seems like the longest Venom movie, the only reason for it being the longest is because of the Spider-Verse sneak peek. The credits rolled after 91 minutes while The Last Dance's end credits rolled at the 95 minute mark. Let that sink in. The only element to it that stands out from the other Venom movies is the end credit song. It's a freaking Eminem song and it's one of my favorite songs from him. The other end credit songs from the sequels are forgettable AF.
