You missed one difference at least, and I haven't even played yet--the custom outfits! That's what made the decision for me in the end, as the Eevee version gets so many more outfits (one for each Eeveelution) from the Pokefan club.

Yeah I noticed this after I beat the game. I had seen pictures of the Eeveelution outfits on Twitter and was so excited to get myself the Umbreon outfit. Was so dissapointed to learn Pikachu version didn't get those and only got *one* outfit set instead of the *eight* Eevee version gets :/

I think Eevee is the essence of Pokemon trainers. I feel like eevee is a metaphor about choosing your own pathway because of the many evolution forms it comes. It makes each trainer unique in how they want to play the game.

I'm surprised that Pikachu sell out more than Eevee. When I was little I was obsessed with pikachu. Now that I'm older I'm into Eevee. I bought the game Pokemon let's go Eevee. Arcade is the only thing I can really agree with. I really don't mind the Go mechanics, and done right and tweaked could spice up the core series. The rival being friendly doesnt bother me as much as the rival being easy to defeat. Hau was alright, it was just a let down that he chooses the Pokemon that is weak to your own. The Game Corner, as far as Ive played, was a bit of a let down because it appears you can't play any of the games. While disappointing, it makes since because this is a game trying to appeal to the current generation of youths.

Both Eevee and Pikachu are available to catch in the wild (Pikachu is there in the earliest section of the game) and can evolve. I had all eeveelutions within about seven minutes of using a lure at Eevee's spawn location. I have a Raichu too. In fact Pikachu spawned immediately for me. Kantonian starters are available in the wild too.

it was a new and amazing feature in the past when pokemon first came out. u connected gameboys w a cable and exchanged pokemon w a friend. the most exciting part was actually interacting and changing pokemon w another person and not rly all about completing the pokedex

Yes as Legendseokjin said, with the first Pokemon Gameboy versions, the link cable became popular so they used to the split of two versions to encourage people to connect their games with friends to get pokemon from other versions and to trade pokemon that can only evolve through trading. It made pokemon into something you dont wanna play alone but with your friends on the school yard.

Sonny You can easily get Arcanine in Let’s Go Eevee early in the game and if you play Go, rn there’s a field research to get Scyther so you can transfer some to Let’s Go ;-;) that’s what I plan to do since Eevee is life 😭

There also exclusive clothing items for you snd your starter depending on what version you got, eevee version has A LOT more clothing than the pikachu version. You get outfit(s) for your starter’s evolution(s), since eevee has MANY MORE evolutions, you get MUCH MORE clothing for you and eevee.

I got the Eevee version, for some reason I always get the game without Oddish. My Leafgreen game wasn't the same, I must always have all the grass pokemon. The hard part was the cables you had to use to trade hadn't worked since gen 1.

I bought Let's Go Pikachu for myself when I got a Switch in summer 2021, then I got Eevee for Xmas. I think Let's Go Eevee is a bit better, but they are both similar games obviously. I really wish the games had the Sevii Islands like Firered and Leafgreen did. I understand these are basically remakes or w/e of Yellow, but I still would have liked to travel to islands in the post-game, seeing them in 3D.

I can't decide. I don't even have a Switch and I still can't decide. On one hand I love Pikachu, it's nostalgic love but I still absolutely love this mascot. I also absolutely love Syther no matter what so that's a plus. On the other hand I personally like Eevee a lot more because of the cute design and how I can also picture it being able to rip my face off if it really wanted to. Ekans is also a big plus, and I have multiple Sythers in my Pokemon go. But even though all of that I'm torn between these games.

My mom got me Let’s Go Eevee for Christmas (I told her she could choose between the two). But I plan on getting Let’s Go Pikachu when I get the money. Because I want to trade between the two. And why not have both?

I think the biggest differences come from what you can do with other switch Pokémon games. For example if you have a let’s go eevee save file on your switch you can get a Mew in BDSP from someone in floroma town. If you have let’s go pikachu you can get a jirachi. So that helped me choose let’s go eevee lol

The Eevee Version is better because: Eevee has more learnable moves than Pikachu in my opinion and also because Eevee is cuter.

I have qeustion, in gameboy if you bought both games you'd play only one ; by this i mean, if u save on pokemon yellow, that save file will be overwritten if you play pokemon red ; Is this the same for this game, or can i buy both and play them both on different savefiles?

When I catch all the Pokemon in only let’s go pikachu, I will leave a comment on a random Pokemon let’s go video and say, “Hey, does anyone have Bellsprout, Weepinbell, victreebel, ekans, Arbok, pinsir, koffing, weezing, meowth, and ninetails?” “I have 217 growlithes for whoever would like to trade with me. Sad that growlithe was let’s go pikachu exclusive (sans late game transfer or the free arcanine you can get) he’s one of my favorite Pokémon. I got let’s go eevee cause i’d choose eevee over pikachu anytime

No they sadly can not. You can catch either a Pikachu or Eevee out in the wild regardless of you version. Those ones can evolve. Your partner does have max IVs in all stats which as far as I know, no other pokemon can have that. Their max IVs is what make them so powerful so keep that in mind. If you want to catch a new Pikachu or Eevee then if you want them to have good IVs then get ready for frustration to get a catch combo up to 31 with a Pikachu or Eevee( I have tried with Eevee and it is hard it is semi rare and it bounces around and runs away a lot and when it runs away it breaks the combo). You can find Pikachu in Viridian Forest and Eevee on Route 17. Also you can check IVs by getting the IV checker from a guy in one of the small buildings between places. It is either on Route 11 or 15. To use it all you need to do is go into a Pokemon's summary (without looking at their moves) and press Y/< with a Joy con or shake the Pokeball Plus.
