Small thing I noticed: Big Game Hunter's ability does not say "may" or "up to one", which means its ability is mandatory. So if Eilidh did do that flicker, she would have had to target her own Toluz, since it was the only legal target ^^ Not important to the game, and can be circumvented by just not flickering it, but I just found it funny how that old wording on Hunter works here :)

A helpful tip when fortelling is to turn it sideways. That way it distinguishes it from a morph card which would traditionally just be flipped over vertically :)

@@maxbodifee3263 where you place it on the battlefield matters. Morph cards would be kept with creatures and foretell cards would go more towards your library and lands area. That is up to the individual but it needs to be cleared to opponents. When they make a new card type they should identify where on the battlefield it belongs imo

Myriad Landscape only gets 2 basics that share land type, meaning K&T's value hug should have come online a turn later. Growth Chamber grew the team one more, but it had no effect on the outcome. Cyclonic Rift isn't really in the Spirit of 2 CMC, is it? Great video, guests, game idea!

I disagree. It's as in-spirit as any other alternative cost - the other decks also have pitch spells or things with evoke or foretell or X spells or madness or cycling. Do you object to Renewed Faith as a MV 3 spell as well?

Land Tax, good spot removal.. and allowing X spells helps make tokens.. I've rebuilt this deck multiple times, and have tried them in prior versions. The problem with the borderposts in esper is that you get very few additional land drops. So they are very similar to a tapped land that costs mana early, and don't get you a bonus spell. (You cast one on 3, and next turn you have 5 mana, which is still only 2 spells.) In prior versions that were more artifact heavy, they were essentially artifact lands, which was good, but Toluz does not need that synergy, so they got fired for mana rocks that make 2 mana so the deck can go 3-6 so it can double spell. So, yeah, generally agreed, I felt bad cutting them, but it made the deck work smoother without them unfortunately.

Wait a minute: I almost forgot that Scute Mob copy would be destroyed if it was a target of a spell or ability. So, wouldn’t the Mina and Denn ability force Meghan to sacrifice the Phantasmal Image? It didn’t register until the rules card about the interaction between Nin and the copy, but the copy was supposed to die.
