As a person that adores cooking for people, my favourite experience in this was when I cooked for 5 of my friends and they were loud, buzzed off vibes, but when dinner was served all I heard was the clinking of cultery. All these extroverts were quiet through the meal and plowed through all the food. Best compliment ever. Feeding people is my love language and Im the same as Aba, I don't need to hear that it's nice lol.

My girlfriend is taller than me , It never crossed my mind until one day , one of her jealous girlfriends pointed it out ,,, and the best part was when my girlfriend told her she never noticed it either ,,,, and then said maybe you might be happier if you found a guy like mine ?? @Kobe Fanforever Stop being slow. I'm not sure if you're intentionally trying to be dense. Outside of the context, almost all girls do this all the time in social settings, especially if they are insecure and immature then theyoften resort to poking fun at another individual of the same gender to feel superior and better. Teenage girls do this all the time..."rebecca you're like...really fat" "so when are you gonna shave that mustache?" Usually in settings infront of other people to impress the individuals and again, boost self esteem. We're not sure of the exact context, but the commenter wasn't implying that she was jealous over their height difference, the commenter was saying that the friend was pointing out the height difference because she was jealous of either their relationship or the commenters looks/possessions rather than height....

As a 5’9 girl, I’m not offended - its just like how personally I have a preference for guys who are taller than me, but that doesn’t mean shorter men deserve to be disrespected or mocked in the ways they often are. As long as everyone gets respect and love, i dont think theres anything wrong with having physical preferences when it comes to choosing who to date. Everyone bases their choices at least a bit off of physical features whether they admit it or not 😏🤷‍♀️

Exceptional athletes? Loool what? With the exception of basketball,long jump,high jump and triple jump, athletic performance slowly decreases at any height over 6’1. And there are multiple studies that show this. And don’t even try talk about Usain Bolt because he’s a genetic outlier. There’s a reason there is an average height and deviating too much from that height is bad. You need to do some more research into genetics bro, especially in regards to sports performance.

Most guys prefer smaller shorter women in general, but this is talked about less because most women are naturally shorter than men. There is a lot less variation in height among women. I do think being 5'2 has a big part to do with why I never cared about a dude's height. I've honestly never had to because everyone I've ever dated has been taller than me.
@12wer3wer9

This has not been my experience. I'm a 5'10 model physique type girl and I have never in my life been rejected by any guy because of my height and I like to wear heels on top of that from time to time. I have had many shorter guys approach me too. All the women and men in my family are also very tall. Someone even said to my mom once that I won't have a problem finding a husband because many men would like to have tall sons. In general height doesn't matter that much for women in my opinion, looks are more important. A beautiful woman doesn't have a problem dating at all, wether she is short or tall. :)

Receiving gifts is still at the bottom for me but I understand it more. If my gf likes blueberries and I take time to make sure the fridge stays stocked with those, that's a gift giving I don't mind and enjoy. The kind I don't care for is when another is expecting something materialistic and expensive all the time. When the dude spoke of shallow, all the languages can be shallow. Gifts - expensive stuff that holds no emotional value Service - doing something to get something back from others later not because you actually want to do something nice. Touch - sex is the only touch you enjoy otherwise stay away Time - just being near each other but not present with each other Words - empty compliments

Man have I changed since I last watched this. Him asking for people to leave whose love language is a certain way is honestly justified. The thing is, when you have a certain love language, that's how you best recieve love. If you're dating someone whose love language is gift giving, but yours is quality time, you're going to have to compromise and give them gifts and vice versa. And some people get impatient with that- some people don't like the idea of buying others gifts regularly, only on special occassions or never. And these annoyances grow in a relationship. So Iget that one

Acts of service are so endearing, why would someone not like that? Or not want to do that for someone? I had a flat tire one morning before work and when I told my boyfriend (now husband) he told me to take his car to work and he spent 2 hours before he had to go to work (4am-6am) changing my tire and he took my car to work. That is some shit I wouldn’t even expect my father to do for me! It’s such a nice gesture and so selfless. Gifts are nice but that level of dedication and time is priceless

I prefer women that are either the same height or 2 inches shorter as me. If I were 6'4'' then I would prefer a 6'2'' female. I know what it's like to date women in all height ranges and one thiing I learned is that kissing, hugging, and dancing with a partner that has a drastic height difference is anatomically not a pleasurable experience. When you arr the same or close height as your partner, there are far more frequent opportunities for satisfying affection. The best kisses and physical pleasure that I've ever had is with females that are only one inch shorter than me, it takes no struggle or effort to pull eachother close for random affection when the height is equal. It is ergonomically uncomfortable having to bend down to french kiss someone that is much shorter or stretch your neck kiss someone that is much talker.

The problem/double standard is women today, regardless of their height, seeking a man 6’ or taller. Oftentimes taller. The average for men in the US is 5’9” and 82% of all men in the US are under 6’. Thus you end up with 80% or more women vying for 12% or less of men with that 12% being across all age groups. At 6’6” you are literally in the top less than a percentage point of US men in height.

As a person whose love language is giving and receiving gifts, I'd just like to say that it's more about the SIGNIFICANCE I place on a gift from someone I love than just "I need stuff." I'll remember who gave me the gift and how I felt when I received it, like how souvenirs bring the happiness of a vacation home with you. There's also such a thing as too much- nobody wants useless clutter lol. It also goes both ways (receiving and GIVING)- I love picking out gifts for my bf and seeing his face light up when I surprise him with something he didn't know I knew he wanted. Doesn't mean I don't express love through words and physical touch too (because I know those are HIS love languages and that's what he needs).

Preach's "I just wanna take this time..." monologue is *EXACTLY* how I feel about words of affirmation. Out of all the love languages, that one is at the bottom of the list. A simple "thank you" and a comment about what you particularly liked will suffice. All those extra words just make me roll my eyes. If I made food and you're gobbling it down then that's all I need. If I look pretty and you're constantly looking at me then you don't need to constantly say I'm pretty. If I'm doing things for you and you have a smile on your face, you look less stressed, or simply say it made your day then my day is made as well Just say I love you/what you did and roll! Of course everyone needs a certain amount of words of affirmation, but I'm saying that I need it the least out of all the love languages because it usually makes me uncomfortable than anything else.
