@Kobe Fanforever Stop being slow. I'm not sure if you're intentionally trying to be dense. Outside of the context, almost all girls do this all the time in social settings, especially if they are insecure and immature then theyoften resort to poking fun at another individual of the same gender to feel superior and better. Teenage girls do this all the time..."rebecca you're like...really fat" "so when are you gonna shave that mustache?" Usually in settings infront of other people to impress the individuals and again, boost self esteem. We're not sure of the exact context, but the commenter wasn't implying that she was jealous over their height difference, the commenter was saying that the friend was pointing out the height difference because she was jealous of either their relationship or the commenters looks/possessions rather than height....

Most guys prefer smaller shorter women in general, but this is talked about less because most women are naturally shorter than men. There is a lot less variation in height among women. I do think being 5'2 has a big part to do with why I never cared about a dude's height. I've honestly never had to because everyone I've ever dated has been taller than me.
@12wer3wer93 жыл бұрын
This has not been my experience. I'm a 5'10 model physique type girl and I have never in my life been rejected by any guy because of my height and I like to wear heels on top of that from time to time. I have had many shorter guys approach me too. All the women and men in my family are also very tall. Someone even said to my mom once that I won't have a problem finding a husband because many men would like to have tall sons. In general height doesn't matter that much for women in my opinion, looks are more important. A beautiful woman doesn't have a problem dating at all, wether she is short or tall. :)

It's not like short guys have more of a chance with shorter girls though. In general those short girls still prefer a guy with above average height. So basically chances for short guys are about the same with girls of all heights.

@@Ash_Wen-li I have never rejected a shorter guy because of his height, but I have experienced a few men being annoyed when they are shorter than me and I wear heels or they feel emasculated if I stand tall. So I have had to reject those guys. But if you are a tall woman many different types of guys even run after you sometimes and I have met a lot of guys that have a fetish for slim tall women, which is even weirder. This is only my experience though so it could be different for other people.
@12wer3wer93 жыл бұрын
@@thenonexistinghero yeah it sucks that height is such a factor nowadays. I think there are way more important things to consider while dating and things that are way more necessary to bring to a partnership than height. I have very short friends who want to exclusively date very tall men, which I don't really get, so I feel for you. But not every woman is like this too. There are still many out there who want a great partner instead of only looking at superficial things.

I know what it's like to date women in all height ranges and one thiing I learned is that kissing, hugging, and dancing with a partner that has a drastic height difference is anatomically not a pleasurable experience. When you arr the same or close height as your partner, there are far more frequent opportunities for satisfying affection. The best kisses and physical pleasure that I've ever had is with females that are only one inch shorter than me, it takes no struggle or effort to pull eachother close for random affection when the height is equal. It is ergonomically uncomfortable having to bend down to french kiss someone that is much shorter or stretch your neck kiss someone that is much talker.

@@Aliyaaaa I always found that to be slightly disappointing when there are girls who are extremely short and exclusively looking for EXTREMELY tall men, making an already small market for tall women, smaller
@knotengajin73593 жыл бұрын
The problem/double standard is women today, regardless of their height, seeking a man 6’ or taller. Oftentimes taller. The average for men in the US is 5’9” and 82% of all men in the US are under 6’. Thus you end up with 80% or more women vying for 12% or less of men with that 12% being across all age groups. At 6’6” you are literally in the top less than a percentage point of US men in height.

As a person whose love language is giving and receiving gifts, I'd just like to say that it's more about the SIGNIFICANCE I place on a gift from someone I love than just "I need stuff." I'll remember who gave me the gift and how I felt when I received it, like how souvenirs bring the happiness of a vacation home with you. There's also such a thing as too much- nobody wants useless clutter lol. It also goes both ways (receiving and GIVING)- I love picking out gifts for my bf and seeing his face light up when I surprise him with something he didn't know I knew he wanted. Doesn't mean I don't express love through words and physical touch too (because I know those are HIS love languages and that's what he needs).

I understand why dude X’d out the women who’s TOP love language was acts of service. Those acts of service end up being expectations and your level of interest will be equated with said acts. So if those acts of service are perceived as not good/frequent enough it will become a headache.

I like receiving gifts bc they show that the person is thinking about me, especially when they remember the little things. My mom went to the store and came home with a drink I didn't even ask for bc she remembered how much I liked it, I was more touched by her act than getting a gift. That's you Aba lol My love language is definitely quality time and physical touch. I was sort of alone the majority of my life or felt like I was because it was very hard for me to connect with someone else for fear of being judged. To top that off, I spent two weeks ostracized from school because the whole student body thought I had a hit list and that I would shoot up the place. Needless to say, no one touched me during that entire two week period, and I was the class genius. So for me, having those formative experiences, those love languages make absolute sense for me. Words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service? They could all take a backseat to being with me in an emotional, mental, and physical sense.

Preach's "I just wanna take this time..." monologue is *EXACTLY* how I feel about words of affirmation. Out of all the love languages, that one is at the bottom of the list. A simple "thank you" and a comment about what you particularly liked will suffice. All those extra words just make me roll my eyes. If I made food and you're gobbling it down then that's all I need. If I look pretty and you're constantly looking at me then you don't need to constantly say I'm pretty. If I'm doing things for you and you have a smile on your face, you look less stressed, or simply say it made your day then my day is made as well Just say I love you/what you did and roll! Stupid speeches, ugh
@IncredibleIceCastle3 жыл бұрын
Dude words of affirmation are literally just things like “I’m proud that you accomplished this,” or “thank you it’s good.” What are you on about. Do you think it means like super drawn out affirmations because usually it doesn’t
@taki12553 жыл бұрын
@@IncredibleIceCastle The monologue is how words of affirmation _feels to me,_ even the brief praises and compliments. It's even worse when the person dwells on it instead of moving on. And yes, while words of affirmation is more like simple compliments, persons whose love language is words of affirmation overdo it. Of course everyone needs a certain amount of words of affirmation, but I'm saying that I need it the least out of all the love languages because it usually makes me uncomfortable than anything else. Words feel empty and vapid, like those insufferable speeches.
